I almost didn’t try this place because of the reviews, but I’m really glad I did. The food was honestly delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavor, and really well done. The pea soup was soooo yummy. It ended up being a great meal overall, and I’d definitely come back for the food alone. If you’re on the fence, I’d say it’s worth giving it a shot.

The best carbonara I have ever eaten! Just perfect: not drenched in oil, but not dry. Creamy and nice, not to salty, not bland. I can't describe it more. I am sad I did not have time to go back again and eat it, as I was only shortly visiting Quebec city. Service was also good, a lady welcomed me and served me timely. I will be back again next time in Quebec city! Merci!

Canada, does not disappoint!!! Food is exceptional! Cafe Baude is OUTSTANDING in everything! Service, food, decor and hospitality is EXCEPTIONAL! Its music takes you far away while savoring the food! Dessert, holy smokes!

Had a great experience, both service and food. Had the pea soup, duck wings and poutine buade. Great portion and food was very good. Our server Joe, was very attentive and courteous. Overall, very enjoyable.

My first time at Cafe Buade for dinner the food is hearty and delicious. The portions are generous and atmosphere is very cozy. Our server Joe was very hospitable and attentive . Definitely returning here.

We had lunch. Wonderful full service, patient and flexible with combining menu items. The food was wonderful, rich, buttery, creamy textures that were perfect, cheese dishes braised wonderfully. The price value was excellent for the location, much less than all the other area restaurants. I would go back every trip to Quebec. Merci beaucoup!

We stopped in for an early lunch, and were very content. The food was delicious and comforting — the pea soup was the best I’ve had in Vieux-Quebec. Our server was attentive, and the vibes are very warm and comfortable.

Ourania was our waitress! She was so polite and patient while we ordered. My family and I had the best time here and the food here rate a 100000/10. Hands down the best! Bit pricey but food and service is exceptional!!

We found this restaurant intriguing as it has a classic atmosphere. Breakfast was tasty. The first time we went on the weekend the wait staff were pleasant and friendly. The washroom needs a token.
