Our server Jordan was so fun and knowledgeable - he elevated our experience and helped us choose the best items on the menu. The staff were all so friendly and the food, drinks and dessert were amazing!

The food was good, but not worth the price. I had the beef tartare and pasta. I believe it was a vegetarian pesto pasta with nuts and ricotta. It was good but definitely not worth the 30 something dollars I paid.

Stopped here along our walk in Old Montreal for a quick bite and some drinks. The service was excellent and Jordan made sure to accommodate us with all our needs. Food is excellent! Will be returning next time we are back in MTL.

On a recommendation from both the hotel concierge and a a sweet server from another pub, we chose Buvette Nicole. Made a reservation, since it was a busy weekend. Greeted by Jordan, literally a ROCK star of the house. His recitings of the dishes were all poetry worthy! Started with Wine by the glass, fairly priced and a nice pour. Table was a bit tight but the whole place was abuzz, good music and nice vibe - for sure. The menu is delicious sounding just to read. We started with the mussels appetizer. NDUJA ET MOULES - Plump mussels on toast with fried capers and the Nduja paste. Life changing flavors. We were amazed at how all the ingredients melded and were just perfect. Cannot say enough about this dish. Main course was the Bavette steak. Also super flavorful and a wonderful salad with it. The dessert was a chef's special. A cheesecake style mousse with amazing cookie crusts mixed into raspberry sauce. Heavenly. Truly world class ending to a wonderful meal. We went back the next night just to say hi and how much we enjoyed it, since it was that good. One of the best experiences ever - here.

We absolutely loved our experience at BN!! Appetizers, dinner and wine were all superbly presented. We particularly enjoyed our dinners, perfect (on the larger side) proportions, delicious flavors and served nice and hot! Definitely recommend this place!!

A wonderful experience at Buvette Nicole. The Beef Bourguignon was excellent and the service was wonderfully attentive to our group of 7. Other standouts were the fois gras and cheesecake.

Beautifully designed, warm and comfortable seating, and the service was above and beyond! Sheldon was so personable, it really made the whole experience for us! Oh and did I mention that the food is out of this world??!!!

Brunch was absolutely wonderful! Warm & friendly ambience; our server Sheldon made us feel very welcome, answered our many questions and discussed the menu knowledgeably. All of the food was very delicious and beautiful. We willl be back to check out the terrace and the desserts!

To say we enjoyed this restaurant is an understatement. A friend and I are visiting Montreal and this place was recommend by a local. The atmosphere was very nice with dim lightening and a mix of Jazz, French, and Italian music. All the food looked absolutely delicious. We settled on the Famous Fondue for two. What a fun dish to eat! BUT the absolute best part of our night was actually our server, Jordan. He was attentive from the moment we walked in the door, a real joy. He was so funny. Even told us about the “dare” when the bread is dropped into the fondue. We had an over all GREAT experience at Buvette Nicole. Highly recommend.

This has been our go-to spot for about 5 years now. We visit Buvette Nicole every time we come to Montreal (once or twice a year) and we tell our friends to go there whenever they are in the city. (Always positive feedback). The staff are lovely (shout out to Olivier for hosting us so wonderfully last night). The atmosphere is cosy and the food is always excellent. The steak tartar and the escargot are a must try! Go for the happy hour drink specials (between 4-6) and stay for dinner.

We had a wonderful time here! The food was fantastic, very lovely atmosphere. They were surprisingly packed but our server Andrew and his colleague took great care of us. Our first dining experience in Montreal and it made us feel very welcome.
