Brunch was absolutely wonderful! Warm & friendly ambience; our server Sheldon made us feel very welcome, answered our many questions and discussed the menu knowledgeably. All of the food was very delicious and beautiful. We willl be back to check out the terrace and the desserts!

To say we enjoyed this restaurant is an understatement. A friend and I are visiting Montreal and this place was recommend by a local. The atmosphere was very nice with dim lightening and a mix of Jazz, French, and Italian music. All the food looked absolutely delicious. We settled on the Famous Fondue for two. What a fun dish to eat! BUT the absolute best part of our night was actually our server, Jordan. He was attentive from the moment we walked in the door, a real joy. He was so funny. Even told us about the “dare” when the bread is dropped into the fondue. We had an over all GREAT experience at Buvette Nicole. Highly recommend.

This has been our go-to spot for about 5 years now. We visit Buvette Nicole every time we come to Montreal (once or twice a year) and we tell our friends to go there whenever they are in the city. (Always positive feedback). The staff are lovely (shout out to Olivier for hosting us so wonderfully last night). The atmosphere is cosy and the food is always excellent. The steak tartar and the escargot are a must try! Go for the happy hour drink specials (between 4-6) and stay for dinner.

The food is great, good and unique combination of flavors. We had the special, the beef skewers and poutine. The special lasagna was delicious. Good service as well.

We had a wonderful time here! The food was fantastic, very lovely atmosphere. They were surprisingly packed but our server Andrew and his colleague took great care of us. Our first dining experience in Montreal and it made us feel very welcome.

In a very touristy neighbourhood this reataurant is truly a gem! Great sized space, genuinely fantastic service, delicious cocktails and very well prepared dishes at a relatively fair price - what more could you ask for?! The duck was outstanding! Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was an intimate restaurant, low lighting, nice atmosphere, not really crowded. We got the beef tartare and the salmon. Both were excellent, really fresh. The service was fast and our waitress was really kind and always willing to help. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back !

Wonderful wonderful restaurant! Our Server Cè was so delightful and made the experience very memorable. She was knowledgeable on the menu and even asked the Chef to make me a dish that was not on their reduced menu at the time, which was very special! If you are visiting old Montreal this is an absolute must stop!

Went here with my family for our first time in montreal, our drinks were well made and our bartender Olivier was very kind and engaging. Great atmosphere! Didn’t get to try the food, but i strongly recommend.

Just a fantastic experience through and through. We had a reservation on one of the busiest nights of the year. There wasn't a table immediately ready when we came in, so they let us take a seat at the bar and have a drink while they turned over a couple tables. They sat another couple ahead of us because just a minute or two later, a nicer booth was available and they wanted to give us that one since we were there first. Once we were in our seats, things only got better. Our server was very friendly and took it as his job not just to go back and forth between us and the kitchen, but to help curate our experience. His suggestions were spot-on and the food was second to none. I can't wait to come back if I'm back in the area.

Incredible meal, start to finish! Amongst our group, we had the salmon, bourguignon, hunter chicken, and steak dishes and all said they were some of the best meals of our lives. Finished off with dessert - espresso brownie and a dolce de leche cheesecake - delicious way to end. Andrew was super friendly without being pushy or intrusive and gave great recommendations. Thanks again for a tasty final meal for our time in Montreal!

My friend and I booked a table for 1pm and we arrived on time. It was to our surprise when they told us that we had to sit at the bar waiting for the table because another reservation took ours. Servers were really nice and the food was good. At the end of the lunch we got asked to leave immediately right after paying. We felt this was odd and rushed especially given the mistake with our reservation. I wonder if they would have asked this of an older group as well?

My husband and I came here for breakfast with a reservation. We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened at 11, and the server was very kind to let us in early. Within an hour, every table was filled, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Service: The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and professional, explained the menu clearly, and checked in regularly. He managed all the tables efficiently and made sure every customer was taken care of. Both the server and another staff member consistently refilled our water, which we appreciated. Food: The French toast was absolutely delicious, with a soft texture and just the right level of sweetness from the light cream and sauce. The Croque Monsieur was generous with ham and overall quite good. Environment: The space was cozy with nice décor. I did take one star off due to the tight seating. The chairs were on the smaller side, and with winter gear, space was limited. I ended up eating my entire meal with my purse on my lap. Perhaps offering table hooks for bags would help. When leaving, the restaurant was so full that it felt tight and awkward to put on the coats and move from our corner seat to the exit.
