HELPING PEOPLE IS NOT A MATTER OF DUTY BUT OF GENERAL KINDNESS. The food was mediocre at best (although the cheese was likely from a cheap supermarket), but the waitress was incredibly unprofessional. I had left my hat there by accident, and when my wife went back to ask for it, the waitress couldn't care less and didn't bother looking at all. When I went a little while later, it was right there but she said it's 'not my job' when I asked why she didn't even check. She was rude and unfriendly.

A charming old-style local bagel shop with delicious homemade bagels. The place has a great vibe and a cozy atmosphere that makes it enjoyable to sit and relax. It was quite busy during Friday afternoon brunch, which shows how popular it is. Despite the rush, the staff were very friendly and kindly spoke in English, which I really appreciated since my French is limited. The food was a bit on the expensive side, but I really enjoyed it and it was worth it. Definitely worth a try, I would happily come back again.

Tried the smoked salmon bagel and it was delicious. The salad accompanied with the dish is just ok, the dressing is certainly different than one would expect flavor wise. Service was mediocre and I would be mindful of billing practices, which were disappointing. The menu encourages you to advise of any ingredients you don’t want so they can be mindful of costs. Considering this, I asked for a meat to be substituted and faced an almost 50% up charge from the already moderately priced meal. Had I known this in advance, I wouldn’t have asked.
