Worst food i ever ate i don’t recommend and it doesn’t deserve 40$
Reviews / Ratings for Buffet des Continents - Brossard
The buffet was disappointing There was very little variety or selection.
I absolutely love this place. This wasn’t my first time at Buffet des Continents in Brossard, but it was my first time going for brunch, and honestly it was a great experience as always. There’s always a lot of people, but the restaurant is so big that even if there’s a line, you usually don’t have to wait too long. Yesterday we did end up waiting about an hour, but honestly that wasn’t surprising at all since it was Mother’s Day… and we were also a group of 12 people! The food is always delicious, and obviously there’s a huge variety of options. Like the name says, they have food from different parts of the world. Sometimes I wish I had a bigger stomach because I always leave wanting to try more things, but there’s only so much food I can fit 😂 Even though it’s a buffet, I think it’s important to serve yourself carefully because wasting food isn’t nice. I personally like going in rounds and taking small portions of the things I enjoy as I keep exploring the buffet. Yesterday I had some wontons with a peanut sauce that were AMAZING. I also ate General Tao, cucumber and avocado sushi (I don’t eat seafood), and a vegetable soup that was honestly delicious. I really don’t have anything bad to say. The staff is always friendly and attentive. They constantly come by to refill your water and remove plates you’re no longer using. The only little thing I don’t love is the ice cream 😅 Even though it’s supposed to be different flavors, somehow it always tastes the same to me haha. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you enjoy buffets and want a lot of variety.
For a buffet this was a great experience. Don't expect fine dining and you will have a great time. Lots of variety, everything was good. Definitely heavy and salty/fat. Price is surprisingly good, around 30$ per person. I wish there were more fruits/vegetables.
Nice buffet experience in Montreal! So many people with wide selections! King crabs definitely is the bestseller! I’m surprise they have fried frogs!! 🐸 No wait for us since we have reservations via Taipan Tours! But the line outside is crazy long!!!
Very clsan and very attractive for the families
Food was delicious, great variety
Visited on a Sunday, I didn't know it would be so popular. Food was mostly good, love the variety.
Worth to try.
Friday night there was alot of people despite that we had quickly access to a table! Staff was quick and nice. The food was great and varied!
Great food great drinks
The food was good but nothing like people described..the service is terrible as well. Food is incredibly dry and some desserts just taste like syrup but 0 flavour. It’s also hard to get WATER..??? Like you could be sitting at a table for hours and ask a server and they say yes, then no one ever comes back…???? This bouffe is just overhyped in all aspects. Came from all the way in blainville to eat here, absolute disappointing experience.
Great place. Our first time back since before the 2020 lockdown nightmare. We waited about 15 minutes in line before getting a seat. Everyone has to wash their hands before being seated which was slightly reassuring. The food selection is really varied. There is something for everyone to enjoy. The food all seemed fresh and the bins were never empty for more than a couple minutes. Some of the selections were a bit too salty for my taste, but that isn't a deal breaker. My favorites had to be the Greek style pork fillets, the frog legs, and the cheesy garlic bread. The dessert selection was just as satisfying. Kids 12 and under eat free (1 free kid per adult) but you need to bring your child's Medicare card as proof of age. We spent about $150 for 2 adults, 1 teen, and 1 kid under 12 for free. We didn't get drinks or coffees. Expect a noisy experience with that many people in one space. Lots of kids screaming, some birthday songs coming from different tables, and the food area was a bit crowded at the more popular selections like the sushi or ice cream bar.
The food quality and variety here are excellent. Although the restaurant was very busy and appeared slightly understaffed for the high volume of customers, the overall value and experience were definitely worth it!
The food was nice and tasty as usual, it was my birthday 🎉🎂 and they celebrated me.
Food was really good even my little kid enjoyed it.. except some server was just standing around. Needed some water and we need to stand up with our glass to asked.. aside from that food was amazing very very good..
Very expensive ,comparing with Hong Kong Jade Buffet - Plattsburgh only 15 $ there you can eat all see foods but here you pay 40$ for pizza and spaghetti
this place is overrated, honestly the food is not wow, the same in all buffets 71 dllrs just for me and my 5yr old (at the entrance said kids eat free, still i paid) plus montpellier that cost 1.20 in maxi here is 4 dllrs, I dont think I will come back.
AVOID eating here at all costs! The chicken is likely rat thighs and everything there was horrible I became deaf on my right ear after eating there
Evidently the best place I have dined in a while. Good food and great service. You might probably wait a little on weekends because of the crowd l. But I assure you, it's worth the wait.
Loved it and the kids eat for free 😋
I went on a Sunday evening for the open buffet. I showed up 40 minutes before opening and the line-up was already full up to the street and another huge side line-up from the left side until the other side door of the mall. This is how crowded and popular this buffet restaurant is. In total it took me roughly an hour wait until i finally got in and got a table. Payment is always advanced. I think they do this cause they lately used to witness a lot of eat and run-away cases. So i guess now they make everyone pay in advance. Menus and food were very good and fresh and delicious. Sushis were well prepared and in great quantity. The smoked and grilled meat sections also were very good. The sea food menus (shrimps, crab legs and black small sea oysters) were good however the crab legs were small a bit and not fresh and i noticed crab legs were very very salty. crab legs used to be better than that. Other than that, they have 3 kinds of pizzas, also chicken breasts and rice was good. french fries were good also. You get for every dollar you spent there, I really enjoyed my time there, I stayed for roughly an hour and a half once inside. I ate 7 full plates + another desert plate, I was so full. Prepare yourself to spend at least 2 to 3 hours there between line-up waiting and eating inside. But in overall, it's a great experience. I found the entrance ticket (40$ + taxes/person ) a bit expensive overall but you really get to enjoy your time especially if you show up with family and kids. I had wonderful experience. Atmosphere is great, place is very clean, menus are fresh, delicious and always buffet is very clean. I totally recommend this place especially for young and small families. A great place to go out on week-ends.
Crowded place with decent food and Price, kids under 12 eat for free, expensive beer, place Is very clean.
Long wait time today but lots of varieties of food and they were all very good. price isnt that expensive. the atmosphere is a little loud but its do able. Overall, a nice buffet if you wanna go with your family or friends.
