I was very disappointed with the quality of the food, especially considering the price my husband and I paid for our meals. The crab salad was unappetizing, the sushi was tough, and the meat was overcooked. In fact, much of the food seemed to be overcooked, excessively salty, and overly oily. Overall, the dining experience fell well below our expectations and did not justify the high prices. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant, as I believe there are other establishments where the money would be much better spent.

Firstly, the restaurant The continental buffet has an amazing ambiance. When I went there with my friends, we felt like we were travelling all over the world. There is a big Eiffel Tower in the center and all the stands are custom depending on the origins of the food they distribute. In fact, the idea behind the restaurant is to provide to all the customers a wonderful eating experience to make us discover the culture of different countries. This makes the restaurant really interesting and that is what I search when I'm eating at another place than my house. Secondly, the quality of the food is excellent. I thought that the freshness of the food would not have been good, but I was wrong. I thought that because it is a buffet, the food is automatically not fresh and it is left out all day. However, the reality is that there are so many people that the food can't be left out and everything is moving fast. The meals are always warm and it makes us want food even more. Finally, the cleanliness was good compared to other buffets. The utensils are clean and there is no cross-contamination. In fact, the different foods were not mixed together. For example, in other buffets, the buckets of ice cream are always mixed together and I find this disgusting. Also, there is always an employee who clears our empty plates so our table dosen't accumulate. This also proves that there is service even if it is a buffet.

This is the first time I ate at any "Buffet des Continent" restaurants and the reviews were very positive and I felt comfortable going to the closest franchise to me. Which happens to be this location in Brossard. When I went it was on a Thursday at 5 PM I arrived at 4:00 PM before anybody lined up. Once I went in noticed people started coming in to line up for the obvious soon to happen line up. Once in, noticed that this place is massive, and impressive to say the least but I did notice that the dinning area was very dimly lit. I am the type of person that would like to see their food before swallowing .If there is anything wrong with the quality or if there is any foreign matter it is hard to detect with this kind of lighting. But at the buffet serving area it is very brightly lit up. Food in general is pretty good but many items were too salty the think steaks that are pre marinated for you to put on the grill was super salty. The quality was good but just like I said the saltiness kills it. I had a slice of Mexican pizza that was amazing in every which way can't complain there. Another item I liked was the cheese burger sliders it was juicy tasted like meat just a bit too salty but within limits. Also had the breaded fried fish unfortunately it was completely dry after one bite had to put it down. I do understand it's hard to keep fish moist after cooking and yes when I went in I was one of the first customers that went through the door. Loved the Greek styled potatoes too. In general I couldn't try all the offer's they had. I am of connoisseur of Chinese but all they had was the Americanized Chinese variety which I stay away from at all cost. I would go back another day to try the other offerings when timing is good.

It was very busy when we went but the line to get in moves quickly. We were very surprised how good the food was (for a buffet). So many options and cool stuff. Would highly recommend and would go back again.

Warning before coming here, it will be a very long line. Sept 19 at 6pm. We waited in line for more than an hour to get seated. Majority of the food is not that special. However, I really like the lamb roast. Carpet floor looks disgusting. Too crowded but I guess it what you expect to a buffet restaurant. Another worst part is that when we finally get to pick our food, they ran out of plates because apparently their dishwasher broke.

I thought this place was pretty good. My only gripe was how they handle steaks. They make you grill it yourself and it's a small space so it's a really long wait just for steak.

After years of experience with this location, and being the SME of ayce, I would like to drop a fair review here, which also respond to a lot of reasonable negative reviews here. First, let me start by saying that, there is no better buffet in Quebec. This is also not competing with those top Chinese buffet in Toronto. If you bring kids under 12, this buffet is REALLY CHEAP. There is a reason for the crazy line ups. The value is high. For years, this restaurant has been cursed with the MALPRACTICE of embedding tips into the price without notice, it then asks for tips which fraudulently make customers double tip. Came back to visit last week, went twice and it seems they don't do that anymore after we did the math. However, like with the previous malpractice, there is absolutely no sign no mention about them rectifying it, so im sure lots of locals may continue to not tip anymore. But kudos to the restaurant for stopping the cheat. Secondly, it is true that the service is lacking, until today. Any other decent buffet I've been in, my used plates would be removed when I leave the table. You'd be lucky if they ever come to clear. At this last visit, I asked to clear, he came to clear half only then disappeared. We gave up. Similarly with water refills, buffets are usually quick at it, not just for good service, but also to get clients full faster to save $$. Here you need to put conscious effort for water. But honestly, if they hire more, your bill will go up as well, then you will also complain more. On the other hand, people forget that this is an affordable buffet (especially if you bring kids), there is really nothing more to ask from the restaurant besides the basics mentioned above. Sure we need to pay ahead, so what? It is not uncommon on this planet. You know how convenient that is when you want to leave? You just leave, no time wasted on finding the bill and payment process. And guess what you can also easily skip the tips, not that I encourage. They already dont have enough people to serve, let's embrace their efficient payment way, so you dont have to wait more. The food is great, i dont know what others are talking about. This is a quebec style buffet, remember. Check out the poutine, I bet you've never seen that much cheese curd at a buffet, they didnt cheap out. The stations of meat-carving for like smoked meat, steak, pork etc...they are generally great. (Inconsistent quality, but if 85 items are good out of 100, it is a good buffet, lets be reasonable). The pizza, salmon, wings, fried chicken, mussels, rings, veggies, pastas, quesadillas, etc are all amazing. Always filled up promtly until past 8pm. The dessert is a bit lacking, but arguably meet the minimum expectations. The Asian stuff like sushi and noodle station SUCK big time, but this is Quebec style, focus on the great 90%! For our old local Brossardians, remember New Port and Vichy? This restaurant is the super saiyan version of them, all the old nostalgic selections have been retained. There is no better around. Anyway, I just felt like giving it a fair comment, it is not perfect, but it is the best in quebec for its kind, and per dollar value.

Food has very little seasoning or taste. Some items I had to spit into my napkin because they were funky. The pizza had no taste and was dry. The water they give you is straight from the tap with no filter. Even the water didn’t taste right. Not worth the high price. Similar buffets in the USA are around $20.

This is my 2nd time entering this place. Last time as Iwas here was for breakfast/lunch with a friend of mine. We enjoyed it Also met another friend of mine with her family. What a surprise it was seeing them. Return with the said family in Aug.13th for a pre birthday 🎂 celebration .This time it was in the evening. There was a long lineup, but it there's no long wait. It went well. Tried a different assortment of meals (buffet). All in all ....it was an enjoyable evening and experience and looking forward to agsin coming back for another buffet .😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👏👏👏👍👍

Great experience, everyone love it! Excellent food with so much options available. The environment is outstanding, the deco is breathtaking. The only thing, they did not coordinate the birthday surprise for my son properly and they sang the birthday song when I was not on my seat.

We had such a lovely experience. The service, the welcoming, the atmosphere was really nice. we appreciate the great quality of the food, my children and I really enjoyed it. We took just enough, without wasting or over eating. My daughter and I shared one stake, it was enough for two, it was the best stake we've ever tried. Everything was best quality, fresh, and we felt good after that dinner, not over full, just healthy. Thank you so much to the amazing stuff for making all that available. Many thanks, Irina
