Our waiter was Loïc Bérard and what an amazing person he was. He asked if we needed an English or French menu. He brought our meals quickly and the size of the sandwich was huge. Most of all it was the best smoked meat we have ever had. There was hardly any fat on it. When we go back to Quebec City we are definitely going back because we recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves Smoked Meat. Merci

Definitely a hidden gem that I didn’t know about. I’ve been to other smoked meat shops in Quebec, but this one was the best one I’ve been to. Smoked meat with Poutine! Was for a couple hours after lunch and then open again for dinner. Staff was very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing!

First time trying smoked meat in Quebec, and we enjoyed it. Also were intrigued by how it is prepared with view of kitchen. Tasty meal, great slaw and fries, and great value for the large portions you receive. Friendly and helpful staff for 5 English only speaking tourists. Seated us without a reservation on a Saturday evening and no wait. Very nice.

The food was amazing! The staff were very helpful and spoke English. They helped with the menu and questions we had. The atmosphere was quiet and beautiful.

Overpriced and cheap in all the wrong ways. Cheap thinking… please put food on the plate!!! I spent $70 for 2 and was told I had to choose between fries or coleslaw. Seriously? At that price, nickel-and-diming customers over a side is just embarrassing. The portions are small, the value isn’t there, and I left still hungry. Pickle? A quarter!!!! If I’m paying premium prices, I expect generosity, not cafeteria-level portion control. Service excellent. I won’t be back.

Great smoked meat sandwiches, honestly the best ones I've had. But my taste is more towards tender. If you don't like smoked meat, the cheese and tomato sandwich was recommended by our veggie lovers. Greek salad was also surprisingly good. Friendly staff and no complaints at all. First went on a visit to Quebec City in 2024, and just had to visit again this week while in Quebec City again.
