Reviews / Ratings for Brasserie INOX - Grande-Allée
Secret find! Almost don't want to share. Has a local brewpub feel in the heart of tourist jammed Quebec. For this traveler is was an oasis of welcome friendliness and terrific brews. Highly recommend the Expresso stout and small batch mead. Though every selection I had was a repeatable keeper. Mia our bartender was charming and very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about each pour. Recommended things to my tastes and advised on consumption order and the reasoning. Fabulous experience overall. And jolly good fun. Mia is now my Quebecoise best friend. P.S. did not dine so not rating food here.
Did not order food, just wanted to try their recommended brews. The flight was very generous with a great selection to choose from. And, the bartender, Mia, was engaging, accommodating, and very informative. I would make this my local spot if I lived here.
We visited twice, and both times the staff were great—energetic and friendly. The first time, we had Bloody Caesars that were honestly better than any of us imagined, but the salted cheese was what really blew our minds. Later, we ordered the hot dog platter... be warned, this is not the small "sampler" we expected! It was a full 36 inches of meat and baguette. It was delicious, but massive. We tried the jalapeño, "strong," and whiskey dogs; the jalapeño was the table favorite, with the strong (spicy) one coming in a close second. The vibe is more or less a sports bar, with TVs all over the place and a rowdy crowd, but we still had a great time. We even stopped back by for another beverage when we were in the area later!
Attentive service, a wide variety of brews (“and nonalcoholic drinks) to suit any tastes. The food was hit and miss. The pizza was tasty but soggy. We were hesitant to try the fondue at a pub, but were convinced by the staff that it was really good. The cheese came in a plastic dish, already separated into cheesy water and unmelted cheese. It tasted good (because cheese!) but the texture was unpleasant. The whisky sausage was excellent.
Great service.
We had an amazing time and the craft beers were excellent. Gabriel was our bartender and he made sure that everyone was well looked after and created such a fun environment. Will absolutely be back. So many thanks to Gabriel for the hospitality. Highly recommend INOX 💯 Merci beaucoup!
My last night in Quebec city on the Monday after visiting family for Carnaval. Slow and quiet night, we were just looking for a short visit. Fantastic food, draught selection and service kept us around all night. Gabriel was a wonderful host that treated us to some fantastic recommendations and company. Certainly, one of the most personable and professional bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet! We will be back again thanks to him.
Great fun! I loved their quizz night :) it’s in English too!!
The beers are great. Get a flight and try different beers. The cheese curds also great. Puts mozzarella sticks to shame.
Big shout out to Myriam and the crew for an amazing night🍾🥳 great service and good vibes 🕺🏾
