We spent Valentine’s Day at Brasserie 701, and it was the absolute highlight of our evening in the Old Port. The atmosphere was perfectly romantic, but what truly set the night apart was the incredible team taking care of us. A massive shoutout to Shady and Felix behind the bar, their service was impeccable. They were attentive, fast, and added a great energy to the night while making sure every detail was handled. It’s rare to find staff that can balance a busy holiday crowd with such genuine, personalized care, but the entire team here made it look easy. As for the food: the Filet Mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, incredibly tender and flavorful. We also had the Duck Entree, which was rich, beautifully presented, and easily one of the best dishes we’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for a spot that combines a stunning historic setting with top-tier service and a menu that delivers, this is it.
