I made a reservation online and to my surprise it was published all over the stairs and on the door that no pictures are allowed. I wasted my time. I was excited for their atmosphere to take photos and they don’t allow them and don’t tell you beforehand. This isn’t exclusive, it’s stupid. The service was terrible, hostess was rude, it took a long time for our food to get to the table and it was cold. Ew. I paid 100$ per person and I regret it. Do not go here I wouldn’t recommend.

Rude hostess very unwelcoming had reservation and was very impolite in answering any of my questions do not recommend will not be returning
We had an amazing girls’ night! Huge thanks to Zakaria and Alex for their fast, high-quality service. They made the whole experience a true 10/10. Highly recommend them as your waiters!
Arrived Friday night from out of town at 9:45. We came into town specifically for this place. No indication that we required a reservation and friends, we were early for a Friday. No option to come in. It was a special birthday but door man said sorry. Don’t care who said this place is good. Local speak easy said avoid it. It’s just a sweaty mess in a location full of authentic cool bars. Had so much fun in this neighborhood Just not here. I could recommend three other places within walking distance that showed us so much lovE. My wife was told that the cool aspect of this bar was supposed to be no marquee no door man etc. Not as advertised!
Server overcharged our group maybe 100-150 and didn’t want to refund but gave us a cheap bottle of champagne and a few shots. Would have preferred refund. Also what’s up with the dj and the lack of transition between songs.
A bit overhyped but the interior design is really cute. Food is okay
Rachel was the most amazing barmaid I ever had!! The vibe was there !
Food was good and nicely presented, but unfortunately one staff approach were rude and unprofessional.(our waiter was nice also) During brunch, I tried to take a picture and was told “no flash” by a guy with curly black hair black mustache (not sure if he was security or staff). I understand that bar have rules, but the way it was communicated was aggressive and unnecessary. This was brunch, not a nightclub, and the approach completely ruined the vibe. As someone who booked a table and ordered bottles, the experience was disappointing. The interaction made me feel uncomfortable and honestly felt discriminatory, especially since my boyfriend is Black. Overall, the attitude of the that staff really affected what could have been a great experience.
I legit caught on fire in the restaurant due to a lit candle. And was not given any sort of compensation whatsoever. Food was good but that doesn’t make up for the lack of professionalism :(
Still my favourite place I've been in regards to restaurants / night-life, a year after I visited. I tell anyone that I can about Bowie, and am itching to go back. Ambiance, food, drink, experience... All 5 stars. For an elevated but fun night out, this is your spot.
Food is surprisingly good for a more of a bar vibe establishment. My favourites were Japanese Taco, wagyu dumplings and Oysters. Atmosphere is fun and on wknd nights, the restaurant turns into a very fun bar with dancing. 4 stars because some dishes were not great and drink prices are on the high side.
