Delicious pizza at a decent price.
Reviews / Ratings for Bottega
ordered a margherita and the dough was quite good but the mozzarella tasted cheap and salty, rendered a lot of fat… tasted homemade in a bad way. but their hazelnut gelato was lovely! very creamy, smooth and not too sweet. biscotti was stale. i think the place is a bit overhyped and too expensive for what it is but the staff is very friendly.
This is amazingly well done Neapolitan pizza. And the place provides a great area for families to dine in. The servers are particularly impressive, adjusting themselves to each group, making them dynamic and efficient. This made my time and others experiences really nice. However it does get quite cramped and loud, though this make the service even more impressive. I got the Margherita, supposedly it goes through a double fermentation, and you could tell. The dough had very impressive airyness in the crust, while having a firm gluten structure but still being extremely chewy. Maybe all places should do this. The centre was a little soggy though not nearly the worst, and the spotting on the crust with the char is some of the best, and the spotting underneath is also extremely good. The San marzanoes were very abundant and were a little too sweet (not sure of brand used) but still helped a lot with acidic balance. The abundance in the centre may have added sogginess a bit. One of the best parts of the is pizza is how warm it was served, with some of the freshest fior Di latte, and also very creamy for fior. Pairs well with the abundant sauce. Aromatics from Basil were lacking however. This is very close to the traditional style just done really well. Overall 9.3/10. This is a great place for families especially but servers are able to cater to anyone very well. If you want traditional Neapolitan pizza done really well this is an amazing spot, and you can tell the servers and chef care about the quality, visibly checking it after making which is really cool. Beware it gets pretty busy though.
Good service! The pizza was ok
Very good pizza, Italian style 👌🙂🍕
This is the best one but i forgot the name.
Solid traditional Italian cuisine. No frills no gimmicks. Complete menu with extensive wine selection. Ambiance is family friendly yet modern. Meatballs appetizers were flavorful and right size. Would go back to try the pizza.
Great service and great food. The team was amazing. Special thanks to Lucas.
Authentic Italian flavors in Montreal. The calzone was delicious. The arancini and the meatballs were stellar.
Excellent 😊
Service was ok but I don't get these places, all you eat is dough! A tiny blob of sauce, a feeble excuse for cheese and a basil leaf torn up in three pieces. That will be 30$ please. The profit margin from selling pizza with nothing on it must be great. Everyone from our group agreed the food tasted fine going down but was problematic the next day on the way out to say it nicely.
Very nice place with friendly staff. The pizza was absolutely amazing, the Margherita was excellent, and the calzone was super tasty. Definitely recommend!
