My go to Indian, hole in the wall. It used to be owned by the main restaurant on Jean Talon, but it’s been sold off…but the food recipes remained pretty much the same. Atmosphere is to be desired so take out is the best option if you live in the area. The service at counter is comparable. Manage your expectations for the price point and atmosphere. However, they have always been efficient and never rude or disrespectful. Just efficient and consistent which is pretty good. Butter chicken is the best option. But almost everything is good. Portion size has somewhat gone down over the years but it’s still a lot of food for a thali. Bonus small samosa is a plus. So if you want to no fuss affordable Indian place, this is a solid option.
