The owner was super nice , friendly and just all around amazing person. Extremely generous food was amazing too we got the goat vindaloo and the chicken madras and they were both super tasty the quality of the meat really stood out to us both the chicken and goat was super tender and tasty I really recommend going in there and getting some food the frozen mango lassi at the end is also a great way to end the meal since it’s quite spicy
What guests say about Bombay Choupati
Bombay Choupati has a generally very positive reputation for the quality of its food and service, with several customers finding the dishes tasty, fresh, and well seasoned. The reviews also highlight a warm welcome and prices considered reasonable for the quality received. However, a few negative reviews mention disappointing dishes, cooking issues, and a drink that was thought to be poorly prepared. For someone who is unsure, it is a place that is often appreciated, but with some variability in the experience.

Absolute favourite. Great food prepared with love. So rare! Wonderful service too. We've been eating here for over 30 years and still love it!
Jay was a nice, kind and helpful person. The food was amazing it was like biting into fireworks. Nicholas
I very seldom go to restaurants anymore but when I do Bombay Choupati is always at the top of my list. The food and the service are excellent; the pricing is quite fair for the quality and quantity that you get. It is a family run restaurant and it shows that they care. While I always order spicier options (like Madras or Vindaloo), their butter chicken is by far the best in the city (not the sweet, tomato-based fare found everywhere else). Their vegetarian options like Chana Masala for instance are excellent, as good as any meat-based dishes.
Best indian food you'll ever have. Fresh nan, everything hot, service is on point, nicest people.
I wish i could give 0 star. My parents are visiting me from India and this is the first restaurant I took them. I was in the area and this restaurant had good reviews. Omg. The food was pathetic. Who on earth makes Palak paneer with aloo and chopped palak. And aloo gobi with water. I think this restaurant has bought reviews in the past. They need to work on their food and hire a good chef. I want my 89$ back. I wish I had an option to not pay them. Worst restaurant experience ever in Montreal.
Haven’t been here in a while, but we came tonight for my stepdads birthday and the employees were very kind as usual, and the butter chicken thali dish was delectable. Very affordable delicious Indian food, ill be coming back here soon
From the moment we walked in we knew we were at the right place. From the amazing aroma to wonderful way we were greeted. From start to finish perfection. The food, the service A,Z…need I say more?
