Amazing new spot, great service from chloe. Will come back
I absolutely loved my experience at Bocca! All the staff were so attentive, and the food was amazing! The branzino crudo: amazing. I have to come back to try the rest of the menu!
One of Montreal’s must-try new spots. Outstanding food, an incredibly attentive and polished team, and a vibe that just hits right. Easily one of the city’s standout openings.
Service was quick and the vibes were great!
Amazing new gem in the old port! Food was perfect, keeping it simple and very tasty. Service was super attentive, kind and friendly. Atmosphere was exactly what we wanted for a night out with friends. Can’t wait to be back 🥰
Great spot! Food, service, drinks all 10/10, definitely coming back!
Top shelf restaurant in Montreal.
The perfect mix of traditional Italian authentic cuisine in an upscale atmosphere. The calamari pasta 10/10 We will be back!
One of my new favorite restaurant in Mtl ! Everything was great from the vibes, to the service, to all the dishes we ordered (caesar salad and the cacio e pepe are a must !!!). We will definitely be back. 🙌
Ambiance: A beautiful exterior of a corner heritage building with an impressive entry. Sat at the bar which was comfortable and cosy. Main room seemed lively, with a bright bar area at the front and tables proceeding down the room, flanked by an open kitchen. The two bar seats we had were comfortable and not too cramped, with solid stools but no under counter hangers for bags. Service: Initially was very friendly with a warm welcome and a laid back approach to get things started. Unfortunately it detiorated from there. Drinks: A small selection of specialty cocktails plus an even smaller offering of wines by the glass. I had a 5oz glass of an Italian Chardonnay which cost $19 (bottle retail is under $30). Small wine list - chose an Antinori Chianti Reserve which incurred an acceptable 200% markup. Food: Starters were a beef carpaccio, which was small for $28 but exceptional quality and taste. Beet salad with blood orange and ricotta sounded better than it tasted. The ricotta was piped around the salad and tasted more like a Kraft cream cheese. Also ordered was home made focaccia which was exceptional with a high quality EVOO liberally poured over top. Mains: Not so good. Dishes ordered: Cappelli with rapini and sausage: Pasta very al-dente with no spiciness from the sausage. Very bland and stodgy. Chicken Saltamboca: Chicken was way too thick and tasted like a fried chicken breast wrapped in tasteless prosciutto. The sauce was equally bland with a few sprigs of tasteless sage. Potatoes: acceptable but boring Dessert: Not taken Overall experience: Started well but deteriorated over the evening with it becoming a really clique atmosphere developing between owners (?) and their friends, which created a non-inclusive environment for the minority at the bar. Admittedly it's a new venture and will take a lot more staff training, but there needs to be a more overall professional approach to be taken. Less of the 'buddy' atmosphere and more attention to creating solid regulars who you'll need to become your bread and butter later on. Good luck guys - unfortunately we won't be coming back.
The photos already speak for themselves, but the food definitely delivers. Loved the vibe in this chic, but still relaxed trattoria. Everything felt thoughtful and well executed. Delizioso!!
Went for dinner on a Wednesday night and it was pretty busy, great vibe, and great service. Not a single complaint about the food, which is very impressive for a new place. Highly recommend!
Amazing new place in the old port. Food was AMAZING especially for a new spot.
Wow!!! Amazing
5 stars easy. Food was unreal, portions on point, and the service was fast and actually friendly
Everything here was really good. The service felt warm and welcoming, and you can tell the team really cares. The food was great, and the cocktails were nicely balanced. We’ll definitely be back!
Delicious Italian food in a cozy, chic ambiance. I went there with my fiancé and we loved it! Really great service — highly recommend!
Memorable evening and can’t wait to return! Very authentic, hand-made fresh pasta (worth the cheat meal), beautifully decorated and very affordable! Looking forward to my next visit 🍝😁
This cozy restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The owners and staff were incredibly attentive. The atmosphere is convivial. Classic Italian dishes. The dishes were beautifully presented. A good wine list. The Melanzane alla Parmigiana was fresh and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend it.
Amazing food , we had branzino and many different pastas. Everything we tried was delicious. Cheese cake was the best we’ve ever eaten. Good service and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
From the moment we stepped into Boca di Lupo, we were welcomed with open arms. The hostess, the owners Jamie & Joe, and Head Chef Nicholas—along with the entire waitstaff and team—made us feel genuinely at home. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was outstanding from start to finish. From the antipasti to the pasta, fish, meat, and fresh salads, every dish was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. The wine list is also well curated and pairs perfectly with the menu. And I have to mention the homemade cheesecake—it was absolutely delicious and, for me, a must-try in Montreal. Thank you all for a wonderful evening. It is definitely a place to return to. Until next time… Ciao!
What a vibe. Amazing food, great energy, and the whole team from the busboy to management was on point. Beautiful spot, will definitely be back 💯
Food is outstanding, vibe is 10/10 and super service! It’s by far the best Italian food in Montreal!
Mezze Rigatoni is the best item in the menu. Must visit when in Montreal.
