Amazing food/wine and really great service! A nice and cozy place for a date.

Reviews / Ratings for Bo' Dégât Tapas et Vins
This small and cozy dining spot serves delicious, authentic Spanish tapas. Portion sizes are quite modest and a bit too pricey. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Their gin and tonic was delightfully, featuring subtle, well-rounded bright citrus undertones. To finish with the exquisite chocolate ganache offers a deeply satisfying, silky-smooth sweet note.
Cute little restaurant in montreal. Worth the detour. The food was fantastic. The place to be if you want great, classic spanish dishes. Haven't eaten that well in a very long time. Will definitely be going back!
Definitely coming back every time I’m in the city
Amazing find! The place is unassuming but everything we ordered tasted amazing. I recommend their ajoblanco and cod, the octopus is also quite tender. A must try!
What an amazing place to be the owner is a tough cookie with a big wam heart we love the food one of our fav sneak out when we feel like have a cozy place
Just took my partner here for her birthday, just wow every dish delivered. The staff/ owners were absolutely amazing and kind. My partner said they were the best meals they’ve had so far and I couldn’t agree more. Thank you! Looking forward to coming back
I never leave reviews, but this restaurant is outstanding for real Spanish food. Can’t wait to return regularly. Such a gem for the montreal food scene
Hidden gem in Montreal, food consistently amazing, everything is made with love by Carmen. Always excited to go back!
The place is small . Not many seats. But i could tell it’s one of the best place for tapas in town.
Bo Dégât absolutely delivered. The hospitality was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. The grilled octopus was the star of the evening—beautifully charred on the outside, incredibly tender, and perfectly seasoned, with a smoky depth that let the quality of the seafood shine. Every bite was balanced and flavorful especially paired with the potatoes dusted in smoked paprika. The cod was also delicious! If you're looking for a spot that pairs thoughtful cooking with exceptional service, Bo Dégât deserves a place on your Montreal dining list.
We arrived and were sat by a very helpful fellow named Marquez. He helped select a beautiful wine and talked us through the specials. While describing the ceviche he mentioned fresh fish, prawns and calamari. We ordered it and there was no fish, just the shellfish. My partner has a mild intolerance to shellfish and was looking forward to the fish portion. At this time we were switched to a new server that came in, a woman with large curly hair. I asked about the fish and she became quite confrontational and told me I was wrong, there was no fish, and that they have a system to not make mistakes, so clearly I misheard. I was a bit confused by this unorthodox approach to service to say the least. I explained that it was ok that there was a miscommunication and it happens. She doubled down and reiterated that they have a system and he clearly never mentioned fish. This kind of blew my mind, as I’ve spent most of my life in the service industry and I couldn’t really fathom this kind of interaction happening in an expensive and well reviewed restaurant. I asked for it to be removed and she said “I’ll take half off so neither of us loses money”. Another advanced move I wasn’t prepared for. At that point I requested my bill, and we left, very unsatisfied, confused and angry. In a city with so many choices, skip this one.
Had a wonderful experience at Bo’ Dégât. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The service was exceptional; attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The authentic Catalonian cuisine was delicious and beautifully prepared. I would definitely recommend Bo’Dégât to anyone looking for a great dining experience and look forward to returning soon. 💫✨💫
Bo’ Dégât, OMG! Where should I start? Well, Spain can be really proud of you, that is for sure, my dear Bo’ Dégât! Food cooked to order, quality ingredients, excellent service, a kitchen brigade capable of some of the best cooking of Montreal, a world class Chef (Chef Carme Márquez is a gifted Chef, but she is also a great communicator, etc.). Elite cooking (elite textures, elite work of the flavours, elite technique, etc.). Bo’ Dégât, you are a Tip Top Spanish dining destination for Montreal and trust me, I think a lot before showering a restaurant with praises, which means that your greatness gave me no other choice but to rave about your great work! Deservedly so!
Having been to many tapas restaurants including in Spain, this one is one of the best. Food was amazing and service at the counter was perfect.
Very delicious tapas, service was very good.
This charming, cozy restaurant provided absolutely amazing food and the personal attention of the owner and founder. The Ajoblanco (shown in the photo), a traditional cold soup from the Andalusia region of southern Spain, was an incredible combination of shrimp with fresh grapes and red raspberries. Make it a point to dine here when you're in Montreal the next time. If I could give Bo' Dégât 10 Stars, I would!
