I have dined at this restaurant for brunch as well as dinner many times. Each and every time I have done so the food, the service the atmosphere has always been top-notch service. I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends who are ever in the Westisland to brunch or have dinner at.

This is definitely the best restaurant in the west island! Wow!! Went for the first time tonight and was blown away by every single dish, drink and dessert! 10/10 👌🏼

I came all the way from Ontario, excited to dine at this restaurant after hearing wonderful things about the food from my family. They had kindly reserved a table for us at 6:30 p.m., and we arrived on time. We placed our order for an appetizer and our meals at approximately 6:45 p.m. Unfortunately, our food did not arrive until around 8:10 p.m. What was particularly disappointing was seeing other guests who arrived after us being served before we received our order. By the time our food finally arrived, I was exhausted after spending the entire day travelling by train, and my son-in-law was also very disappointed with the level of service. We therefore decided to have our food packed to go rather than dine in. Overall, the experience left us with the impression that regular customers may receive priority, while others are left waiting. Given how highly we had heard about this restaurant, the experience was disappointing and not what we had expected.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This is our 3rd time here, twice for brunch and once for dinner and let me start by saying… this place SLAPS. It’s incredible, everything they do is delicious and you should definitely come give it a shot. You will not be disappointed.

Booked a 530 pm seating. Entrees arrived very quickly. However, after another 70 minutes the mains had not arrived. Paid are bill with no discont for the extremely slow kitchen. Will not be back. Other tables that came in after us were served well before us

First of all I really enjoyed the fact that the waiter was explaining the menu to us before hand was very informative and efficient for us to choose exactly what we wanted and I was amazed of how flavourful the dishes were was worth every dollar will definitely come back and we got a complimentary smoothie before our meal which was good as well 10/10

Food was excellent and the service was very good. We got the tasting menu and I was very pleased with not only the quality but how filling it was. Our waiter was very friendly. He knew the menu dishes by heart and was able to describe each one in detail. Classic Southern sounds were playing all night which also added to the experience. Highly recommend this spot.

The food was amazing. The server knew the menu very well. He had plenty of recommendations and they were all good. I didn't go for brunch the pictures looked amazing. I would definitely go back to try the brunch menu!

What a hidden GEM! Food, service, and overall experience were all amazing. We walked in as the kitchen was closing and they were willing to accommodate without making us feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing anyone. We came here after I spent 20 minutes looking up restaurants that could accommodate GF as my husband is celiac. There was not a separate GF menu but the entrees were naturally gluten free. Mathieu was incredible and was very knowledgeable in what was GF and what was not. They even had a dessert option which was also to die for. My husband enjoyed his dinner guilt free and did not experience any symptoms after. The whole experience was amazing and I 100% recommend going here if you are in the area!!

There is not enough praise we can give for Bistro Nolan…located right in the heart of DDO❤️ Everything was perfect from the mouthwatering dishes to the garden oasis patio dining, to head chef Richard and every last member of the staff🫶🏽..everything was so exceptional🌟…we travelled all the way from Toronto…(2) YEARS IN A ROW!! And not only did they remembered us, they prepared a special birthday surprise 🍰 for both my mom’s 80th and 81st bday🎉 God’s willing, we will be back again for the next birthday celebration!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Absolutely blown away! Looking for someplace new to celebrate our 28th anniversary and my husband found this little gem and asked me if I wanted to go. Seemed a bit pricey ngl but what the heck. It sounded good. I was impressed the moment we pulled up in the parking lot. Loved the facade, the plants, the decor. Everything just seems so ... sweet. The vibe inside was quaint: relaxing, great music, interior decor was charming. The whole experience was fantastic. Service was impeccable, food was perfect, food presentation was beautiful. We were so impressed. Will definitely be going back.

I’ve lived in the West Island a long time. I had heard about this place but never went. Found myself there on a date. This simply is a hidden gem (maybe not so hidden). Great trained service. Unique flavourful food. Quaint and cozy atmosphere. I’ll be back very soon. Great job Matthew and the chefs mastery of flavour. It’s nice to find something so ungeneric.

Had a delicious supper with my celiac wife and the experience was wonderful. Mathieu and his team made sure we had gluten friendly options and the choices were delicious. Sweat potato cream was something I've never had before and didn't regret it. Duck and shrimp was really good. Really good, nice place and super friendly staff. You can't go wrong

Excellent!!!! The server, Michael took time to explain the menu and was amazing at providing us with suggestions. The food was 10 out of ten. I had the crab cake, gumbo shrimp and smoke brisket.

The fried chicken with honey glaze at this place is honestly the only thing better than my company tonight. I am much more fun than a Pistons game and way easier to handle than a busy kitchen. If you have good taste, you know where to find me.

We spent over 300$ and this was for a birthday party. We brought a birthday cake and they didn’t accept it. If you have kids and want to enjoy a cake don’t go to this place. No high chair and the owner Chris didn’t tell us about this. Bad communication and will never go again. Went next door to ICY VIBES and the owner accepted us cutting the birthday cake. Will definitely be going back to them.
