Aurelia made us amazing BBB cocktails. The duck pizza was among the best pizzas we've ever had. Crust was next level. Dely was an awesome server.

We had gluten free pasta (alfredo) and chicken and sundried tomatoes pizza. Both were amazing! We went back to them, because we couldn’t get enough of them. The staff was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable.

You can't go wrong with this restaurant. We are from out of town and had a couple of sketchy restaurant experiences in Old Québec. Our Airbnb was nearby in St Roch. After the first visit to Birra and Basta, we were hooked! Nice atmosphere, decor and music (which was louder on Saturday night), wonderful hospitality and scrumptious food! We really enjoyed the namesake Birra et Basta pizza (with a little extra olive oil), and would recommend their Caesar salad, with fine ingredients including toasted pine nuts for an original twist. On another occasion we tried the beet salad with goat cheese, duck confit, pine nuts, apples etc. We also loved their capuccinos/ espressos, and the cannoli is a must-try. Not recommending this restaurant , expensive and not good. Check the lasagna for the secret white sauce, not existing anymore but still mentioned on the menu?? if you are a wine drinker, only most expensive one available on the menu… I do not like being cheated.

Pizza was ok atmosphere was good Just check your bill before paying they had extra on the bill. Then the bad habit, they give you check and don't let you examine the bill, they put payment for your credit card instantly without giving you a chance to look at bill. Mistake could have been innocent but not giving you time to examine bill is unacceptable.

Food: Cesar salad was excellent. We ordered one large to share between two people, and it was easily enought for 3. Lasagna was good. but really heavy on the pasta and light on the meat. Spaghetti a la Carbonara was very cheesy and a little dry because it sat under the heat lamp while we finished our salads. Service: Timing of food and appetizer was a little off, but not a big deal. We did order bread (which cost extra) but we did not get it with our meal. Since it was on the bill, we asked for it to-go. Took 20 minutes after paying the bill to get the bread. At this point, it wasn't about the bread, it was about waiting them out to get the bread that they obviously did not want to take the time to get.... irritating. Atmosphere: Very nice cafe vibe, open air seating was nice, music was just a little loud but you could still talk.

We had a wonderful dining experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy an authentic Italian meal. A special thank you to our server, Gustavo, who was exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His outstanding service truly made our experience even better. Highly recommend this restaurant, and if you have the chance, ask for Gustavo you'll be in great hands!

The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. Mario the chef and owner came out and chatted with us. The manger kept the atmosphere a perfect place for dinner or drinks. It’s a MUST stop in the city. Will be dreaming of the food and drinks forever.

The Margherita pizza was solid simple, fresh, and homemade tasting. The wood-fired oven gave the crust that perfect balance of crispness and chew that you hope for.The real winner of the night, was the halloumi. If you’re only ordering one appetizer, make it this one. The sweet and salty combination was incredibly well executed, and it completely stole the show. They also have a good selection of burrata that I wish we tried.Service was decent. Our server seemed to be juggling quite a few tables throughout the evening, they weren’t overly attentive.The biggest letdown was the sangria. As someone who orders sangria often, this one missed the mark for me and was unfortunately one of the weakest I’ve had.
