One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in Montreal. Amazing service (shutout to Mike he was great), delicious food served at perfect temperature, good prices for downtown. Nice for friend groups and dates, loved the atmosphere. I will definitely go there again 💛

Always wanted to come here and I'm finally glad I did. Our server Arthur did a fantastic job guiding us on their $45 degustation menu. Well worth the price. Drinks were very unique.
Having spent years living in Tokyo, this was a great find in Montreal. A great place to unwind after work or with friends in the evening. A small but adequate selection of food was delicious and reminded me of home. Some of the food is more of a fusion experience and very tasty. Highly recommend the agedashi tofu.
I arrived near to closing time, and even though service was a bit delayed, the food was served promptly and it was delicious! The service was attentive and friendly, and the cocktail (Mr. Poco) was excellent.
Great food, great retro izakaya vibe, excellent service. Had Kaisen Don, Haru Karaage and Saumon Bonbons. Highly recommend!
The Kaisen Don is tasty 10/10 Overall a nice experience 😎 I will come back to try the other stuff on the menu for sure 💯
Best restaurant experience in Montreal if you're looking for casual and delicious. We were in town for the F1 race, ate at several places, and this was by far our favorite. The food and service were amazing. If we're ever in Montreal, we will definitely be back! Thank you!
Excellent place to eat and very happy vibes. Servi ebis top notch. Thank you.
Excellent service. Will be back
Chicken Karage is sooo delicious! Great for dates. The owner is NOT Japanese. That out of the way. Food is outstanding
Great food and amazing service! We loved the cozy terrasse in the back. Great veggie options - the vegan noodle dish was lovely.
Went with my wife. The wooden cabin section with the Japanese lights is the best part of the place, really nice atmosphere. Sake was ok. Food wasn’t great and the whole meal felt rushed. Our yakitori never came so we had to cancel it at the bill. Server was nice but clearly overwhelmed. 3 stars.
One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal, I come here monthly
The concept to share is nice and different. The food was good. Place ideal for groups to enjoy a nice evening
Biiru is excellent, we saw the restaurant advertised for Japan Week. We were seated quickly despite reserving at the last minute, on the heated patio. We ordered yakitori (👌) veggie gyoza (ok) Udon with mushrooms (👌) candied salmon (👌) and some cocktails. The Asahi beer was very fresh. The Mr. Popo cocktail was excellent and tastes a bit like pine. My husband thought it tasted a bit soapy. The Pisco and muddled grape cocktail was good but also had a soapy flavour. Our only issue was that we had to remind the servers of an edamame dish we ordered 3 times and it came out over steamed. The price overall was alright. The ambiance is excellent. We would go back for the fresh Asahi, yakitori, udon and candied salmon.
Delectable food, impeccable service, inviting ambiance! Plus, smooth lighting ...
Delicious food, and most importantly amazing service and drinks by the bartender Artur. Came with a group of friends and will be back very soon.
The ambiance and customer service here were fantastic! We had the ribs, karaage, udon and tuna poke here. The customer service from Will and Ivy our servers was impeccable and we will be back soon.
Service was great!! Was served by Will and Ivy and they made sure we felt welcomed. Would definitely come back
Such a cool vibe and the food was amazing!
I've never not had an amazing time each time I visit Biiru. The food and drinks are great but the staff are the MVPs. Thank you to Amy, Will, and Alex!
Delicious food. The host took great care of our group
Will and everyone on staff were incredible hosts! The tasting menu was delicious, plentiful and they accommodated my sisters gluten intolerance with ease. The cocktails Will suggested to pair with our tasting menu were perfect with the food the chef was preparing. You're in good hands at Biiru, thank you for a fantastic birthday celebration!! Xxoo
This place is amazing, we absolutely love this place. Alex, Will, Juliana and Ivey are so kind, treat use with respect and are overall fun. They bring so much to the experience and the food. OMG its so flavorful and making you want more. We appreciate you!
Lucky to snag a 3-top on a Saturday night without a reservation. Will recommended the set menu for $45pp, and it was a hit! Great selection and generous portions. The Onsen was delightful as cocktail or mocktail, adding brightness to balance the strong entree flavors. Matcha cake also rich and full of flavor, worth a try.
