Delicious food. The host took great care of our group

Will and everyone on staff were incredible hosts! The tasting menu was delicious, plentiful and they accommodated my sisters gluten intolerance with ease. The cocktails Will suggested to pair with our tasting menu were perfect with the food the chef was preparing. You're in good hands at Biiru, thank you for a fantastic birthday celebration!! Xxoo
This place is amazing, we absolutely love this place. Alex, Will, Juliana and Ivey are so kind, treat use with respect and are overall fun. They bring so much to the experience and the food. OMG its so flavorful and making you want more. We appreciate you!
Lucky to snag a 3-top on a Saturday night without a reservation. Will recommended the set menu for $45pp, and it was a hit! Great selection and generous portions. The Onsen was delightful as cocktail or mocktail, adding brightness to balance the strong entree flavors. Matcha cake also rich and full of flavor, worth a try.
I went to Biiru during my trip to Montreal because my friend suggested the place. She’s been there a couple of times before and liked the food so she wanted me to try it to while we’re in town. It was a Thursday night and we tried to get a last minute reservation online but there’s no table available for 7:30 pm on the system. But we did get lucky with walk-in though because they actually have a table available for us at the outdoor area. We decided to order a bunch of dishes to share between the two of us and here are some of my favorites from our meal: 🍵 Matcha Matcha • 8/10 I ordered the Matcha Matcha mocktail. Nice matcha, not too strong, not too bitter, not too sweet. It has a nice earthy taste. 🍽️ Korn Korokke • 7.5/10 The croquettes were nicely fried and the curry wasn’t too strong. 🥟 Pork Gyoza • 8/10 Great pork gyoza. The gyoza skin wasn’t too thick and the pork was flavorful. 🍽️ Kaisen Don • 8/10 The Kaisen Don was pretty good. It tasted fresh and and light. All and all, although I liked some of the dishes better than the others, the food overall was pretty good for a modern Japanese fusion izakaya spot. Service was great and the staff who waited our table was nice. The noise level at this place was pretty high since it is a drinking place. If you’re looking for a good Japanese fusion izakaya spot with great drinks menu and lively atmosphere in Montreal, this place is worth to try.
What an amazing restaurant! We ordered 6 dishes and every single one was excellent. Truly recommend! A special thanks to the manager who got us a last-minute table and was so kind.
Lovely evening at Biiru. Excellent food and service. The ambiance is very nice and not too pretentious.
Excellent food and more than reasonable prices!
Love going to Biiru - always good food, courteous service and fun ambiance!
Hi, unfortunately we were turned away from the restaurant by staff since we walked in with a minor. at time of reservation the restaurant s inability to host under 18s was not mentioned. We were accommodated at a nearby sister concern by the very helpful host at Biiru however this does not negate the fact that the restaurant complicated our evening by miscommunication on their part .
Tried this place for the first time last night, and already can't wait to go back! The tasting menu is incredible value for your money, every dish was delicious (special shout out for the ribs, and the candied salmon!), and the cocktails were creative and fresh.
Went for a beautiful birthday brunch—great food, service and atmosphere !
amazing meal, service. highly recomment octopus balls and the salmon tartare with crunchy tapioca
Magnificent food. Highly recommend. A tad chilly, bring a sweater or a wrap.
I’ve been to Biiru a few times now for both work dinners or out with friends. Every time has been an amazing experience. Staff is on point and actually takes the time to check in and make sure you’re having a good experience. Food wise incredible especially for the price. Each dish has amazing sauces and is full of flavour and has some slight twist on traditional Japanese izakaya food. Update: Going back a year later, the food and service are just as good. Will helped us tonight and had strong recommendations, including the haru karaage, okonomiyaki, unagi skewers, pork ribs, salmon bonbons, and more. Amazing dinner.
Really enjoyed my experience and lunch at Biiru. The blond Ale Beer was perfectly cold and refreshing as I experienced in Japan. And the Okonomiyaki was excellent as the waiter promised. Really cool atmosphere and really worth it to have lunch there. I will return for sure when I want that nostalgia of Japan.
Had a very pleasant meal here with my friend. We went for the tasting menu as well as two cocktails. Service was solid, our main server was friendly and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount and quality of food as the tasting menu was only $45 pp. My one complaint was that it was VERY protein-heavy with barely any veggies. I think the only vegetables were inside the gyoza and the carrots & mushrooms that were part of the beef tataki (which was delicious). It would've been nice to include the gai lan or even a salad in the menu.
One of my favorite spots in town. Friendly staff, great food, still affordable somehow?!
Excelente, absolutamente todo, dumplings regular taste but good enough to starting and a simple menu well developed and making all the experience sensational 🥰🙏🏻
Great vibes and the food was great! Order the Ramen and Karaage. The Haru Karrage was delicious. Did not have a reservation but was able to sit immediately. Had a great time and the food and drinks were a great way to warm up!
Awesome service. Food was amazing. Thank you guys!!
Delicious! Thats pretty much all you need to know.
Great food, good prices and excellent service in a nice Jpanese bistro ambiance!
The waiter was really kind, the food is not cheap BUT you pay for quality food there, enjoyed the sake and the atmosphere, waiting times were not awful at all!
