I didn't even wait to take a clean photo of the food; I just dove right into it.This was my first time trying their food, and I must say, I am very impressed with the taste and overall quality. I did not dine in, but the atmosphere is very clean and authentic. Service was fast. It is funny; by the time I changed my mind to make it a large meal, the food was already served and coming out, so I cannot complain at all. I will be back for sure to show some support and try something different. Their curry goat is awesome, straight up!✨️👌💯 #SmartShineCleaningCo #BiggaTaste

This was my first time visiting this place. While looking at the menu displayed on the counter, I noticed that the chicken roti was priced at $15 and the goat roti at $17. However, when I placed my order, I noticed that the prices were different. I asked for a receipt, but I was told there was a problem with the printer and that someone needed to be called to print it. I then asked why the prices were different from those displayed on the menu at the counter. The only response I received was that the prices were listed on the blackboard. I don’t mind paying the difference, but the way the situation was handled was very unprofessional. Customers deserve clear communication and respectful service. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression, and I will not be returning.

Great food and even better vibes! Bigga Taste serves authentic Jamaican cuisine that really delivers on flavor. The rum sorrel was amazing and definitely worth trying. We had the brown stew fish, curry chicken, and ackee and saltfish with the sides, and everything was delicious, well-seasoned, and full of authentic Jamaican flavor. The service was really great as well—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant was nice, clean, and had a great atmosphere. If you’re in Montreal and looking for good Jamaican food, definitely check out Bigga Taste. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful meal with my group of about 18 people. And all dishes that we ordered was well presented and taste was better than most places.Love my selection of brown stew fish. The fish was firm ,well seasoned and very tasty.👌

I had the broken stew fish 🐟 was very good,came fast, hot,I would definitely recommend, exited to try other menu items, whent with a group of church family and ox tail, fry chicken, goat meat were all delicious 😋 great service.

We went there for the first time today. The food was fresh and DELICIOUS!! The service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Prices are very good as well. Nice atmosphere though we didn't dine in. The curry chicken was especially good with flavor right to the bone. Bigga taste has bigga flava.

I just want to give a big shoutout to the lady working the counter when I did a pickup yesterday. I asked for a small hot sauce and when she realized they didn’t have any containers left, she insisted I take the whole hot sauce still unwrapped. Super nice of you and want to thank you again for your service. Might I add and say that the food was also super delicious and tasty. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you again.

My cousin brought me ackee and saltfish from there and i had to go back for more. Its the best version of ackee and saltfish ive had thus far. It was done right! Served with white rice etc...its to die for! I have recommended this restaurant and will continue to do so. Food nice!!!!

I was in Montreal visiting a few days ago and wanted to try some Jamaican food, so I Googled the nearest Jamaican restaurant and Bigga Taste came up. I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, the ambiance was very nice, the customer service was great, and the washroom was clean. There was a family of four ahead of me, and once it was my turn, I ordered an oxtail dinner, jerk chicken dinner, and a small chicken soup (the soup of the day). Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. When I got back to my hotel and opened the bag, the rice had a noticeable burnt smell. Considering the price I paid for the oxtail dinner, I honestly didn't feel that it was worth the money. There was very little gravy, and what gravy was there was very watery and lacked flavour. If you're going to stretch the gravy, you need to make sure it's properly seasoned so the flavour isn't lost. The jerk chicken dinner was disappointing as well. My partner felt that the portion was much too small for the price, and unfortunately, the overall meal didn't live up to our expectations. The soup did have good flavour and actually tasted pretty good. However, I was surprised when I discovered that the meat in the soup wasn't chicken as expected — it appeared to be oxtail — and the meat itself had very little flavour. I'm including photos with my review because I believe customers should be able to see exactly what was served. Overall, the customer service and atmosphere were good, but unfortunately the food and portion sizes did not justify the prices for us. I really wanted to enjoy this experience, especially being from out of town and looking forward to some good Jamaican food, but I left disappointed. Hopefully the restaurant takes this feedback constructively because there is definitely room for improvement in the food quality, seasoning, gravy and portion sizes.

At this Jamaica (Caribbean) restaurant , it's traditional native flavor give it's well done prepared food , a very significant taste. You are in no doubt when you choose Bigga Taste Restaurant. Gwaan Dweet Same Way Bigga Taste Do Not Change A Thing. "A Satisfied Toronto Resident Said So !" BLESS .

The food was reminiscent of Jamaica. Our food was delicious. The oxtail was succulent and bones were chewable. 😜 Also the fried chicken was tasty. A must try!
