The food was amazing and the whole vibe of the place is very nice. I really had a good time. I will be back!
Wow what a spot! The food was 10/10 thin crust pizza was delicious, that caesar salad was on another level !!! The crunch wow and I love me a Caesar salad we also had the truffle fries I really have nothing bad to say. The music was fabulous and our server was lovely !!! Will definitely be back
The best pizza I’ve had in Montreal. New York style. Vibe is also great!
So overrated and there are sooooo many better pizza spots in the west island.
Great food, drinks were good also, we sat outside, easy to talk. Friendly staff
Bernie's Pizza Martini Bar what can I say.. The West-Island needed a spot like this. Cool atmosphere, unpretentious vibe, straightforward menu, good food and drinks and excellent friendly service. I would recommend reserving if you want to be guaranteed a table as this place was still full past 10pm.
I liked the place but the food is average. 3⭐️ would be viewed as negative and not what I mean to convey. It’s just average. Drinks are good. The burrata dip is bland, barely any hot honey and no sign of the everything bagel seasoning. The pizza is ok, I wouldn’t place it in the top 10 that I’ve had. The Fun Guy pizza is tasty. They charged an additional $4 to add sausage - I’ve had an easier time finding Waldo compared to finding the sausage on the pizza. In summary, somewhat overpriced for what you get, I don’t regret going and I wouldn’t return. Service was really good.
Not really impressed with the pizza
Excellent food, excellent service, great music with an amazing vibe … 10/10
Other than the fact that you have to be out within 2hrs, this place was fantastic! We had a "Hot Pep" pizza, along with an order of Bernie's meatballs. Both were absolutely delicious! Our only complaint, was that there was only 1 piece of bread with the meatballs! We wanted another so that we could soak up the remaining sauce, as it was delicious!!! The pizza was filling for the 2 of us eating it. Thin crust was cooked to perfection. The "cup and char" pepperoni was very tasty. While it was a tad greasy and salty, it is a pizza after all and to be expected, right? One very odd thing!!! The men's toilet is a single toilet set up... the seat has a built in bidet!!! The remote hangs beside the toilet on the wall. Who, I repeat, WHO would use a bidet at a public, BUSY restaurant??? I thought was very strange! However, I guess it is that "added touch"! 🤔 If you're in the West Island, like a busy place with good music, atmosphere and of course, food, then Bernies is the spot for you! I give it 👍👍
Food is truly delicious! We ordered 4 pizzas to share between 8 people + 2 fries and it was enough food. The place is nice but all the tables are way to close one with another so is really hard to pass between, go to the bathroom or even not hear your neighbours conversation. It looks more like a place for adults than for families. Drinks were ok, nothing extraordinary.
Great way to spend an evening with family or friends the pizza was amazing the entrees were delicious service was outstanding just a very enjoyable evening
Good food, great and quick service.
Bernie’s Pizza Martini Bar is clearly doing something right, expect to wait even with a reservation, as the place is packed even on quieter nights. Kudos to management for creating that level of demand. I went with a large group, which gave us the chance to try several items. Overall, the food is good, not great. Since this is oven-style pizza, some traditional pies, like the margherita, lose a bit of authenticity. In my opinion, the choice of cheese is what holds the pizzas back. It felt somewhat processed and affected the overall flavor. We tried the funghi, margherita, hot pepper, and classic veggie pizzas. On the plus side, the burrata was excellent, very creamy and flavorful, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The atmosphere is cozy with a fun vibe, making it a great spot for date nights or big groups. The staff were very friendly, and there’s a strong selection of wines, cocktails, and mocktails. It’s a little on the pricey side, but still worth the visit. Overall, a solid experience. With a different mozzarella, I genuinely think the pizzas could be top-notch.
We loved our first experience. Service was great, food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. We will be back.
Our 1st visit of many to come , delicious meals all around . Friendly , professional and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend 5 ⭐️ !
What an amazing addition to the west island! Everything was excellent from start to finish. Great starters (burata with a hot honey was awesome), excellent pizzas and great martinis! Great vibe and service as well! Get the cookie at end and thank me later! Hope this place lasts a long long time!
Delicious food!!!! Loved the lychee martini! And the service was great!
My friend and I showed up without a reservation and they could accommodate a spot at the bar and at first we were a little skeptical, but we were extremely comfortable in those seats and the bartenders were amazing and the service was remarkable. I would recommend sitting at the bar and watching them make a multitude of lovely martinis. The food was also amazing and piping hot. It was an overall amazing experience.
Had a great date night. Food was good, the drinks were good. The seating is a tad tight but overall great meal.
SUPER YUMMY! Our waiter was Anthony and he was amazing. I have gluten restrictions and he made me feel confident in the food I was ordering and catered to my restrictions impeccably. He also answered every question we had with confidence and if he wasn’t sure, he asked. The gluten free crust on the pizza is also divine and don’t get me started on their dirty martinis, WOW!! Overall a very good experience with my husband and we deemed it an amazing first date spot. Definitely recommend Anthony as a waiter and get a dirty martini😋
Bernie’s has great portion sizes and very good pizza, but it can be expensive. For example, we ordered two pizzas and two Caesar salads and the total came out to about $150 including tax and tip. The pizzas are large and filling, so sharing works well. The restaurant gets extremely busy, and walk ins are almost impossible, so it is best to plan ahead.
