We ordered the raspberry lemon birthday cake from Bernice, and unfortunately it was very disappointing for the price. At around $75, we expected much better quality and flavor. The cake was overly sweet, and honestly all we could really taste was sugar. The raspberry and lemon flavors barely came through, making the cake feel very average overall. For this price range, there are much better options out there, we personally found Le Cavalier to be far superior in quality and taste. Sadly, this cake did not feel worth the money.

Came to pick up an order and decided to stay for a while. Our drinks were delicious and the staff were very kind and helpful. A cute little spot and the cookies are SO GOOD.

If you need a birthday cake, or just a slice or two of birthday cake, Bernice has you covered. And whatever you do, don't sleep on the cookies. The cinnamon rolls are excellent. But the savory rolls are not to be missed

I love a great dessert, but always feel disgusted after the overload of sugar. This place does it right! Soft, delicious and satisfying. Had their brioche and cookies.

I dropped my birthday cake mid-day yesterday and ended up going to Bernice to see if I could score a super last minute (seriously, 15 mins before close) replacement birthday cake for myself. I got a frosted rainbow cake & it turns out that dropping the original birthday cake was the best thing that could’ve happened to me on my birthday. I’m not even really a cake person but this cake was giving off such a whimsical energy that it got me really excited for the cake portion of the evening. I will definitely be coming back here for all future birthday cakes.

Best cinnamon roll  “Brioche” I’ve ever had, I went to other places that are in the top list of MTL and this is my new favorite. Super fluffy, buttery and moist, yet it has other great textures from the crumble and the sides are a bit baked or caramalized. The cookies are great too, very similar to levain cookie in NYC, I really like the 4oz cookies. Overall one of the best baked good outings I’ve had, I was planning on saving some for at home but ended up eating everything. Customer service was great, and the man behind the counter kindly answered my many questions about all their products. Will definitely be back, worth the far trip from the other side of town and will need to try their cake next time!

Very expensive ( 18 cad for a slice of cake ). Anyway The white chocolate cookies are amazing, the cake not so much. Brownies ( 10$ for a square) are okay as well as cinnamon rolls but overall just extremely pricey

I can't get enough of this place. Everytime i go it's always a treat. I've tried so many of their different cookies (and famous cinnamon bun of course) and I've never once been disappointed! My favorite so far has to be the brownie/Blondie cookie, it was so delicious, and it was the perfect sweet treat! The staff is also always so kind and smiling, they've never led me a stray with their recommendations. This is definitely one of my go to spots for when I want to indulge in a GOOD sweet treat🍵🍪

The original cinnamon bun is amazing! Yes it's a bit expensive but for the quality and the size it's absolutely worth it. Also the staff is very kind!

I honestly can’t recommend this bakery enough! I come here whenever I’m in the area, and I’ll even go out of my way just to drive here. My daughter and I absolutely love it. The coffees, pastries, and cakes are all amazing—I’ve yet to find anything better in Montreal. It’s definitely an indulgent spot, but every bite is worth it.

We ordered the Biscoff cake... and omg.. it was absolutely scrumptious. Delicious, moist, beautiful looking and sooooo tasty... its the best cake i have had. Everyone enjoyed it, even the kids!! Highly recommended!
