Service: It was my first time here and I suppose there’s a counter where takeout food is placed (to the left of the cash) and if you are dining in, your food goes to the right with a tray. I was eating it but was not asked.. so I waited a while to the right to eventually be asked if I was missing anything. I said I hadn’t gotten my food yet and 3 people looked around confused to eventually say “oh it was over here” (the takeout counter). The place was (mostly) empty and not one person noticed I waited that whole time Price: Incredibly overpriced. Not possible to upgrade poutine size in a combo is odd.. and somehow made everything complicated - but that is fine. This medium poutine, fountain drink and 2 small burgers for $41 is way overpriced. Taste: the poutine was good. Nothing I’d go out of my way for but there was plenty of cheese. Burger was subpar and I would not pay half this price for it again Restaurant look & feel: Old diner style with lively music. Didn’t ever see a table wiped down despite a couple families coming and going and the 4-5 staff being less than busy. Despite that, the place still feels pretty clean and well kept so perhaps I just missed this. The people seemed nice enough, but still paid no attention to me waiting for my meal (with a toddler) and also called an uber delivery person an idiot on his way out (but perhaps he was - lol).
