Strategic refreshment stop on the way from Montreal to La Malbaie - very pleasant outside tables with a view of the river. Friendly service, very warm. Interesting beers. Food options were varied. Best of show, on the food front, was the charcuterie and cheese board from local products. The tacos were fine but less exciting - thinking back as to why, it is probably because there wasn't any chilli in them. Can it really be a taco without chilli? (Discuss.). Also the fish in the fish taco was cold, which I think is less good than freshly made - although for sure making it to fresh made would be an absolute pain kitchen-wise - so I can see why they do it as they do. These are foodie type quibbles. For a random road stop, which is how we ran across it, it was unexpectedly good, and the situation and the service were both really nice. Recommended.
