I was visiting from Toronto and have to say this is one of the best meals I've had in Montreal. From the service to the food, 10/10!!! Alexa tended to us and ensured we were always good. I came for my birthday and absolutely everything was stunning from the moment we walked in. Jimmy went above and beyond to ensure I had a very special night!!! From top tier service to even getting the right angles for my photos. 10/10 would recommend.

I came to Bazrart on Thursday for a girls night out. I was told about it from a former colleague Dimitrios (who manages the restaurant). It was a beautiful place with an unmatched vibe. He recommended what to eat and to try the specialty drinks. Let me tell you he didn't disappoint us. Food was incredible and service was too. He also recommended to stay afterwards as the restaurant was filling up for an event. It was a magical evening with beautiful people surrounding the place giving it a club feel. I Will be returning with friends for sure 5 star experience thank you too all.❤️👍

I brought a group of out-of-towners for a work meeting and honestly had such a great time. The atmosphere was awesome and the place itself looks amazing. The food was impeccable, everything we tried was on point. Our waitress was really helpful and attentive, which made things easy for a bigger group like ours. Also have to shout out Dimitrios, the manager. He really helped make the night memorable. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend.

I haven’t eaten there, just went for an event. It is a gorgeous venue. I could not get enough of the interior design! The bartenders were very nice as well, customizing drinks if asked, and did a great job at it too! Would absolutely like to visit again for some food later.

Came here for my birthday dinner and had a disappointing experience. The manager was very rude and even stopped us from taking pictures with my cake, which ruined the mood. He kept giving us unfriendly looks the whole time. The food was okay, but nothing special, and the place was empty and lacked atmosphere for a Friday night.

We had such a great time at Bazart! We hosted a 5 à 7 with colleagues and enjoyed every moment. The service and drinks were excellent, and the bouchées were absolutely delicious. Truly one of the best places to host a group event!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Bazart. We went there to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and unfortunately, the entire evening was ruined by the manager’s behavior. From the moment we arrived, we were treated very poorly. We’re not sure if it was because we arrived late, but despite apologizing multiple times, we were made to feel unwelcome the entire night. At one point, the manager told my sister to get up from the table, saying: “Move, until the others arrive you’re not allowed to sit.” This was honestly shocking and disrespectful. Later on, when one of our friends had an issue with her card and needed to go to her car to get her wallet, the manager told everyone that no one was allowed to leave until she came back. Meanwhile, the birthday girl had only stood up to take a picture and was treated as if she was trying to leave without paying. Throughout the night, both managers made us feel like we were being watched and judged, almost as if we were thieves. Maybe it’s because we are young, but that is absolutely not acceptable. To make matters worse, when my sister tried to finish taking her birthday pictures—after being constantly interrupted—we were basically scolded and rushed to leave. It’s very unfortunate because the place itself is nice, but the way we were treated made us feel like we did not belong there. If I could give -1 star, I would.

I flew from Toronto to Montreal for my birthday and we booked this place for dinner! At the end of our meal waitress asked about occasion and my friends mentioned it’s my birthday today! She did not even bother to make it special as i could see table next to us had same occasion and they had sparkling candle and dessert probably as a gesture by their server!! Clearly our server was not interested at all to make our experience better

We had been genuinely excited to visit Bazart and celebrate a birthday with friends, even planning to post an enthusiastic video review on Instagram to highlight our experience. Unfortunately, what should have been a special celebration turned into an incredibly disappointing and embarrassing evening. When booking our table, we were given a strict «no later than 15 min after reservation» policy, which we followed seriously. We even called ahead to inform the restaurant that a couple of our group might arrive a few minutes after the deadline, as instructed on the website. Despite arriving promptly at 21h15, we were told our table was not ready and that we could be seated at the bar. The bar had no empty seats, and staff made no effort to accommodate us, walking off without pausing or looking back. We were not seated until 22h05, almost an entire hour after our reservation, while others who arrived after us were promptly seated. Throughout the evening, we were dismissed; not by one, but FOUR members of staff! The host at the entrance gave us uncalled-for looks and even followed us into the bathroom, rudely showing us how to turn on the tap as if we didn’t know. The manager was dismissive, the waiter was outright rude, and the staff member who finally seated us brushed us off as if we were insignificant. We felt treated as less than, seemingly because of our age. On top of this, our waitress rudely pressured us about tipping, asking, «Is there something wrong with the service? Why aren’t you tipping?» and, «Where do you come from? Standard tipping is 18%.» Tipping is something we take seriously, but it is earned through quality of service, and there was none that evening. We tip generously when service is deserved, and we had hoped for an experience worthy of sharing publicly. Instead, we were made to feel unvalued and unwelcome. Arriving on time but waiting nearly an hour with dismissive and rude service ruined what should have been a special birthday dinner. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it reflects how anticipation and excitement for a visit can be completely undermined by poor service and dismissive behavior.

Went to Bazart for the first time to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is definitely one of a kind and offers a stunning decor. Although I was experiencing better service from such a beautiful restaurant since the service offered felt like the bare minimum. As for the food, it was good and offered good portions.

The food is really good but they really need to train their staff to interact with clients. If you want a waitress to disrespect you, speak roughly to you, ask you to give her half of the plates when you’re done, this is the place to be! The owner does not care that much either, which is really disappointing!

Food was good although nothing special, a bit too salty. The reason for the review is to let you all know of the classless server and floor manager on NYE 2026. They had the audacity to cause a scene over a low tip amount. Since when is tip mandatory to begin with. Absolute no customer service skills to pull a guest into the back room on New Year’s Eve to beg for a higher tip.
