Excellent restaurant and new discovery in Montreal! Apparently, they opened up just a few months ago, so kudos to the team! I took my lady there for Valentine’s day and we took the tasting menu. The food was great: delicious flavours, generous quantities, all served in beautiful dishes to share. Every thing was authentic and well executed. I highly recommend!

I don't understand how this establishment can justify these prices. It's insulting. $14 for potatoes: you get a handful of potatoes (at most) and they taste like fast food (cold, sat on a counter for hours). $60 for chicken: you get 2 legs, which are almost gray in color - not edible. Very pretentious. Service and wine was excellent though - very friendly staff.
The food was really bad and extremely overpriced. There's a plethora of Lebanese restaurants in Montreal with far superior food. I'm baffled by the high reviews.
A 'must visit' Lebanese family run restaurant. A fantastic welcome, servicw and food. Went there Wednesday in February. This family run restaurant is an unexpected gem on William St. It is authentic and charming. The food is of high quality, fresh and expertly prepared. The atmosphere is warm and the staff knowledgeable and interested in the clientele. They take a personal interest in ensuring customers have enjoyed every aspect of their meal which is impressive, even in a city where food service seems to be the norm. If we are ever back in Montreal we will be repeat customers! This restaurant absolutely deserves to succeed.
1:45h limit for 4 people AND a credit card on file to reserve. The food may be good (albeit pricey) but I do find the time limit ironically antithetical to the typical Middle Eastern hospitality that the restaurant is supposed to espouse.
I love food here is very testy and service is owsom
Food was ok, nothing special (except the battata, tasted old and dry). Really small and overpriced portions. It seemed pretentious… also 18/20$ for a mocktail? Seriously?
I would like to preface this by saying that I frequent Lebanese/Syrian restaurants and this is not really a good representation of our arabic culture. I hope to provide as much constructive criticism as possible. 1. The restaurant provided us a table right next to the entrance to the kitchen and right behind the servers. This made it feel that we had no room for privacy at all since the servers were at maximum 2 feet away and everyone was coming and going near us. To resolve this issue, I don't think that table should be there. 2. As we sit and settle, the first thing the server tells us is the "policy" they have which is that we have a maximum one hour (or 1.5 hrs I don't remember) to eat our food. This is non-traditional and actually considered very disrespectful. In no way this is a lebanese tradition or "beirut"-like. 3. Since the servers were right next to us, almost every sip of water we had led to the servers refilling it. In less than an hour, our water was filled 18 times (we counted) which kept getting us interrupted. 4. The servers were great but they seemed tense. I persume it's management that needs them to be like this but it did not feel natural and they seemed almost stressed. I would urge management to be more considerate of their servers and to loosen up a bit on them. 5. The food was fine. We had wara2 3enab, fattoush, kebbeh, and shesh barak. They all tasted good but nothing to justify the insane price they had. The portions are also insane considering arabic food is meant to be shared. I noticed for what we ordered they came in odd number portions and not even... almost felt intentional. 6. While I appreciate the shots on the house that they provided, the timing of when they brought the shots was awkward. It seems often that the servers interrupt our conversation or our eating. This is NOT a server issue, I believe management trained them like this so they seem "caring". 7. Music. What kind of lebanese restsurant doesn't play lebanese music. We have beautiful music and culture that would go hand in hand with the food we offer. I was very disappointed by that. Overall I think management is trying to hard to be something that theyre not. I am confused as to what type of people are they trying to attract? Definitely not authentic arabs. I would not personally recommend this place to anyone. We spent 120$ for 2 people. We ordered fattoush to share, grape leafs (5 of them), kebbeh (3 of them) and sheesh barak (8 of them). This dinner should be 40~50 max for the portions they offered. Do not go here for arabic food (we got influenced by this montreal tiktoker).
Amazing dining experience. Both the owners were extremely kind and generous, as were the waiters. Immediately felt at home at this restaurant. Would definitely recommend.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, and the service was truly amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was my friend’s birthday, and they surprised her with a delicious ice cream cake to celebrate, which made the night even more special. Highly recommend this place we will definitely be coming back!
I had been meaning to try this restaurant since the summer and am so glad I finally did! Everything we ate was delicious, and I would strongly recommend. The staff was very kind and attentive too.
