Great place, I enjoy this restaurant several times annually. Summary: Today, the volume is too loud. April 09, 2026, I was very happy the HABS game was on the screens, and the impressive sound system was playing the sound of the game. It's a moderate-size bar, and most of the guests are couples; most appeared interested in the game, as I was. Yet, the volume during the game is definitely on the high-end of acceptable, and the volume of commercials is +20%, pushing the volume to ridiculous levels. Now, the 3rd period is starting, only about 12 people remaining in the bar, yet the volume remains as loud as when it had many more occupants. I like loud volume, yet this level is unnecessary and for me, it's too loud.

Our server was outstanding ,very patient ,very classy and polite I can’t remember his name but all I know he is Greek 😂 top notch service ! The food was excellent and big portions ! U should all come try it.

Delicious meals, tried new braised beef with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, tender and favourful. Service was great, wine suggestion was successful! It was a relatively quiet night for a Thursday, hockey game on giant tv screens in bar area was fun.
I ordered the ribs and it was dry with no meat on it unfortunately before it was great now things changed

On Saturday March 17th we had an underwhelming experience at the Carrefour Laval location from our arrival to our departure. We had a reservation for 8 people at 18:00. When the two of us arrived we were brought to the wrong area of the restaurant where under large group were seating and with no seats available. We had to search the restaurant to find out the others of our group. Then we had to wait so long to get someone to come and serve us. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and waited a long time for them. In fact, we had to direct the server helpers to our table with the drinks and appetizers as they were trying to guess who ordered what at our table versus other tables nearby. The drinks and appetizers were fine however. Then we waited much longer to get our main plates. The same thing happened whereby the server helpers had no ideas you ordered what at our table versus other tables nearby. The food quality was really not what we had experienced with Baton Rouge previously, not to mentioned the temperature which was lukewarm at best. I have always had a good experience at Baton Rouge, this location and many others, but that night it wasn’t a good one. Baton Rouge, you can do much better than that. An unsatisfied regular customer.
Drinks and food was amazing. Great for date night
We went for my husband's birthday.I chose Baton Rouge for there onion soup, which I could not wait to have.Broth was very tasty but EXTREMELY salty which we could not eat.On to the main meal.The chicken tenders were melt in your mouth and the mashed potatoes were amazing.Service.was excellent , even though we must have had about 6 different ones.Cannot.wait.ro go back.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation expecting a basic level of organization and respect for customers’ time, but instead I was left waiting 45 minutes past my reservation with no real explanation. What made it worse was the attitude of the staff. Not only did they fail to acknowledge the inconvenience, but they were also rude and dismissive when I asked about my table. There was no apology, no attempt to make things right, and not even a small gesture while we waited. The whole situation felt very disorganized and driven by greed, as it seemed clear they were prioritizing squeezing in as many customers as possible rather than honoring reservations they had already accepted. If you’re going to take reservations, you should respect them. Unfortunately, this place showed very little respect for their customers’ time or experience. I won’t be returning

Was really busy and cold draft I was wearing my coat then my boyfriend ended up putting his coat on also.. I was happy with my food. B Ribs but chicken wings I didn't like wasn't crunchy and my bfs steak was cooked to long and there was so many ppl) he didn't say anything so wasn't the best experience next time we will go in day time
Shame on me I did not take any photo. Had a very mixed of food this time. Soup of day was a delicious carrot soup. Chicken wings, Rib steak and Ribs with the famous all dressed baked potato with 2 cocktails. Still one of my favorite places to dinner.
We have a reservation today January 31 at 19:00 , we arrived on time and as you see in the photo , they have no place and we have to wait for 20 minutes (their excuse there were a lot of walk in customers ) what is the point of reservation if you accept walk in customer , lovely kind of service , will see how the dinner go and update ,thanks Update , the waiter were very rude and give us an attitude with no reason , I noticed they are overwhelmed but still that is an excuse that shouldn’t be accepted in such industry. I don’t want to set any other expectation, will wait and see the rest of the night . Order arrive after 40 minutes!! Wife ordered steak medium well and she got it well done !!! Wait another 15 minutes to get her another one . Wait another

Tried to make a reservation for my daughter's baptism for 30+ people at the end of May but the manager doesn't seem like it wants the business. Thanks for making me call you a bunch of times and waiting for your phone calls for nothing. You still haven't called me back. Dont bother anymore. I found something else.. shame on you's
Amazing service and the food was great. Only issue was lack of bacon in the Ceasars salad!

Food was great. Service was slower at refills at first but the waitress recognized this and ended up taking corrective action. Well done.
What a disappointment. It’s like the hosts have absolutely no clue how to seat guests. We spent an hour at the bar waiting for a booth but no joy. We drank, we ate appetizers, checked the status 4 times. Unforgivable. Sincerely, for the apathy, and the poor quality control, go anywhere where the place appreciates you and your patronage. But, if you like being treated like a heel, you’re home. Enjoy!! 😀
