We made a reservation for 4 for a Habs hockey game and a birthday celebratory dinner,... doesn't get much better! We were able to try a new wine which was pretty good... and the BBQ Ribs were to die for, so flavourful and tender. Delightful ambiance and courteous and efficient service. For a new opening in Pointe-Claire I give it 2 thumbs up 👍 👍

This is not the same Batton Rouge you know from 5-10 years ago. Below average food greasy overcooked small plates. Just horrible change in how this place is run. Hard pass, unless you are there for a drink or at best a burger. Service slow and average.

Always a wonderful experience. I find this new location open and bright. Tables in the dining area and bar area are a refreshing modern quarts. My usual server is Lenny and I’m never disappointed. Today I had Matthew and he was as just as wonderful. I am never disappointed with the food, portions or service! Thank you both and thank you Baton Rouge. You are a favourite on the West Island :)

I have been coming to the older and new location for years. The service is always great and they can make older menu items from years ago for me. I bring my niece here for lunch dates and she also loves their chicken tenders.

I visited the new Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar location in Pointe-Claire last night. Unfortunately, while the evening started strong, it went downhill once the mains arrived. Our server (I don’t remember her name) was excellent — attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. We started with drinks, the garlic bread gratin, and calamari, and all of it was fabulous. Then came the entrées. Two of us ordered the seafood linguini. For a dish priced at over $35, I was disappointed to receive what was essentially a large bowl of pasta with only two small shrimp and three tiny scallops. At that price point, I would reasonably expect a much more generous seafood portion. The other entrée was a steak ordered medium, simply because the person dining with me did not want it bleeding. It arrived well done, with no pink at all. To end on a positive note, the espresso martini was delicious and the apple dessert was absolutely decadent. At the end of the day, though, a restaurant has to get the mains right. Sadly, based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

The new location is beautiful,the food upper level,the service impeccable great experience.Me being a senior and the manager a junior who likes boum boum music,when it's too loud people are much louder and I cannot enjoy a conversation with my guests.This is the new generation I have to live with if I knew a time of the week when could enjoy a meal without such loud music I would run back.The problem is no the Baton Rouge but me being a senior.I wish them well.

I'm still fuming about the appalling service I received at this establishment. With two kids in tow, we waited for 30 minutes without anyone taking our order. When I politely requested better service, I was met with a shocking display of aggression. Someone screamed at me in front of my children and other customers, giving me an ultimatum: take it or leave it. The manager's behavior was utterly unprofessional, and we promptly left to find somewhere else to dine. I strongly advise against wasting your time and money here. Instead, choose a place that values its customers and treats them with respect.

We visited Bâton Rouge for the first time at this location for a small birthday dinner and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We had a reservation for 7:00 p.m. but weren’t seated until 7:35. Once seated, our waiter was friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the service and food quality quickly fell short. Our meals arrived before our drinks, which set the tone. The steak was tough, and the loaded baked potato was undercooked. More concerning, our childs burger was served raw and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The waiter was understanding and apologetic . We felt bad for him because it was clearly out of his control. Overall, it felt like the restaurant was overbooked and the kitchen was overwhelmed, which impacted both service and food quality. Not the kind of experience we expected…

We ordered the chicken tender platter, Baton Rouge burger platter and spinach dip. Wasn’t really satisfied with the food (very bland) the spinach dip was gross. The burger was the best option and even that’s putting it lightly

A very nice spacious venue with great service 😇😇 We started with shrimp tempura that was super delicious and then moved onto the main meals quickly. I had the salad while the rest of the group had salmon and ribs and each bite was amazing ❤️❤️ Our full compliments to the chefs for making such amazing food with huge portions made with so much attention and care 🙏🙏 The staff is also very amicable and always on their feet and make great conversations with everyone 😇😇 Cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 venue with family and friends and try other items in the menu ❤️❤️ Also Go Habs Go 🏒 🏒

A brand new restaurant with the waiting room the size of a house entrance... not sure who's idea that was. You have people waiting outside, some of which just outright left. We should have left with them! The service is extremely slow, waiters bringing someone else's order to our table and the food isn't good anymore. ~10 years ago, this place used to be a 5/5 any day of the week. Not sure why it got worse, but regardless, it's no longer worth it.

The new version of Baton Rouge on boulevard St. Jean was not the experience I was hoping for or one that I had become used to. Apart from the oddly bright lighting, the dining room decor is a blend of upscale dark colored factory & office grey setting. I wanted to savour a tasty bit of steak and of course their well baked potato to enjoy alongside that amazing gravy they usually serve. Well...the steak arrived with some very tired looking steamed vegies and a piece of beef that must have been wrestled away from the great Gretzky after a few periods of agile practice. As I shifted my attention to the baked potato, I indulged into the often well toasted and tasty potato skin after finding the potato a bit overcooked with an aged flavor in the skin itself. Maybe my taste buds were off but it will be a while before I return.
