What guests say about Bati Cantine
Bati Cantine often offers tasty food with good portions, and many customers highlight the good pad thai, soups, and value for money. The service is often appreciated, with a pleasant atmosphere and sometimes a nice terrace, but the wait can be long and the experience varies from visit to visit. A few comments also mention small portions, dishes that are sometimes dry or not fresh enough, and a vegetarian menu that could be better clarified.

Food tastes all the same. In all different dishes.
Authentique foods. Nice ambiance restaurant. A lot of nice seats for group of friends or couples.
The food was great, One of my family members got the chicken which he said was crunchy, a little dry but he remarked it went great with the stir fry vegetables, our waiter was polite and friendly, helpful with questions we asked her, wait time was only 10-20 minutes and it's an overall quiet place other then people talking with one another.
Ordered to go. Food was okay and small portions for the price. Good service and atmosphere. Service was fast.
The food arrived cold; it was a big disappointment because I was really looking forward to it.
The food options were limited and honestly, not that appealing. I left hungry.
The food was far from fresh, and it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Not what I expected.
Excellent
This has to be The Best Pad Thai / Asian food overall here in Quebec! Please note: I took home leftovers to my hotel, and ate every last drop COLD! Chef's kiss to the staff and cooks! Run and do not walk to try out this gem in Quebec!
The food was so delicious, and the service was great. Even though we were full, we still ordered dessert because we believed it would be good too.
Awesome service, delicious food and beautiful decor.
Awesome food ! A must try in St-Roch neighborhood!!
Really nice place with a very good food offer, from the starters to the desert all was very nice. We ordered Tom Yam Soup which I believe should be a must, the Pad Singapore is very good and to end the fruit sorbet was very fruity.
Closed down restaurant, non functional anti rain roof for the outside, bad service, kept forgetting utensils, hot water, no napkins or not enough.
We had takeaway. There were seats outside to chill and eat but it has been raining so we left. My tofu and cashew dish was very tasty.
Strong, but balanced flavors and good service. Great spot!
The vibe is great but the service is a little off and the one dish we got was not great. We ordered the fried chicken which came as three full wings (flat and drum attached). It looked great but the breading was super thick and doughy. The sauce was sticky and sweet but didn’t taste like much else. On the service front, the dish came without a single napkin. Then when my wife (who doesn’t speak French) was waiting for the bathroom no one told her that she needed a key. It was empty the whole time but she remained waiting without help. Other folks seemed to be having a good time and they were doing brisk take out business as well. Maybe the rest of the menu is good but we wouldn’t recommend it.
Delicious food.
Highly recommend Phnom Penh soup (which is not on the Menu). The taste is similar to Hu tiu (Vietnamese food).
Ordered takeout and the food was still warm and fresh Pad Thai and skewers were so good Will come back once in the area
I ate a Pad Thai there for dinner. It was really delicious but we were waiting pretty long for the food (it was worth it). Fresh cooked and not that expensive for what you get.
Very relaxed restaurant with a decently sized menu! I was expecting more Khmer dishes as it is marketed as Cambodian cuisine but the modern take and variety menu is understandable; the dishes we ordered were tasty and service was good.
Used to be amazing but definetly not anymore. Extremelly disapointing general tao chicken. Theres barelly any chicken in any of the pieces, mostly stiff coating. Not worth for the price...
Food is tasty. Especially the pad thai is nice. Curry chicken is nice. Service is good. Atmosphere is chill. I have to say the plain rice is a bit too undercooked and too hard.
