An authentic cuisine. They stick to their guns with their recipes. And that is what makes it awesome. The portions are just right. Nice ambiance in an old world setting. Romantic and homey at the same time. Nice place for an intimate meal with close friends or colleagues.

Had high expectations as the reviews are good, but it was honestly disappointing altogether the carbonara tasted like pure fat from the pancetta… The cavatelli with tomato sauce was ok. There was ricotta on top, and we asked for parmesan, they charged the whole table 1.50 for extra Parmesan…Never heard of this in my life of eating out! Not to mention that we ordered lots of food charging that extra is very greedy. Anyways Good luck

Bonjour, Pour précision: une carbonara traditionnelle se prépare avec du guanciale et du pecorino, pas avec du pancetta ni du parmesan. C’est ce qui permet à la sauce de se lier sans crème et d’avoir son équilibre. De la même façon, une pasta alla Norma est servie avec de la ricotta salée. C’est un plat sicilien, simple et précis, que nous choisissons de respecter tel quel. Lorsque des extras sont demandés hors recette (comme du parmesan pour toute la table), des frais peuvent s’appliquer. Cela nous permet de maintenir la qualité et l’authenticité des produits que nous utilisons. Nous comprenons que cette approche ne convienne pas à tout le monde. De notre côté, nous continuerons à cuisiner ainsi. Bonne continuation, et merci pour vos vœux de chance: elle nous accompagne déjà très bien. — L’équipe du restaurant Cu mancia fa muddichi.
