I’ve been coming to Café Baristello on Jarry for a while now, and it’s easily one of my favorite coffee spots in the area. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with just the right balance between cozy and lively. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or sitting down to work or catch up with someone, it’s always a great vibe. The coffee is consistently excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. You can tell the baristas know what they’re doing. I’ve tried a few different drinks over time, and they’ve all been spot on. Their pastries and light bites are also fresh and really good, especially considering the very reasonable prices. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. The staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and remember regulars, which adds a really personal touch. It never feels rushed or impersonal, even when it’s busy. Overall, Café Baristello is the kind of neighborhood café you hope to find—great coffee, fair prices, and a team that clearly cares about what they do. Highly recommend to anyone nearby.

A quaint little spot tucked into one of my favorite neighborhoods (Villeray, Montréal). Great coffee and delicious sandwiches that deliver a small burst of joy with every bite. Today’s hunger-induced pit stop turned a cold winter day into something warmer and brighter.
