Amazing experience. Sasha is such a great guy, and the whole team was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere felt really warm and genuine. We had a great time and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone

Thanks to the bar owners Alex and Karina for hosting our small business event! We enjoyed the Nordic brunch menu that was designed specifically for our group. We recommend this place for small events like ours. It’s beautiful, safe and gives you enough privacy. Alex and Karina always go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

There was a piece of plastic on the food. Tiny portions. Rude staff. Avoid. It was food from a plastic bag. The drink had a fly, we asked to be remade but he just removed fly and gave it back to us. Music too loud. It just proves all budget places only the area are bad.

Very disappointing all-you-can-eat experience. The service was a complete disaster. We waited around 30 minutes just to get someone’s attention to place our order, and then waited another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Unfortunately, the food itself was just as disappointing. It didn’t taste freshly prepared, and the overall experience gave us the impression that the staff were more interested in getting customers finished and out rather than providing a proper all-you-can-eat experience. It also felt like the restaurant was not genuinely prepared or willing to provide the all-you-can-eat service that was being advertised. If you offer all-you-can-eat, customers should be able to order and receive food in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, the service was extremely slow, the food was disappointing, and the experience was frustrating. I would not return based on this experience.

Wonderful experience. The Gravlax and Crevettes was fresh and full of flavor. Kviv golden ale was refreshing and crisp. Great food and beer selections along with friendly customer service. Highly recommend.

The beer was great! would definitely return for a drink. If this place had a terrace would be perfect for a summer day. Food was ok, but we only had some fries and hotdog can’t say much

As a Swede I was happy to find a place that served Nordic food as we were celebrating Swedish Midsummer. The food was great and authentic especially the Herring Smørrebrød that really tasted like home. They have a nice craft beer selection as well and the service is helpful and friendly. The decor of the place itself could be slightly cozier as it feels a bit white and sterile. Personally, I would have loved a Meatball dish served the traditional way with mashed potatoes, gravy and lingonberries and not with poutine (as the city has so much of it anyway) but all in all a solid spot and I would come back whenever I crave my Nordic food again.

Great service and food! Cafe Judinstrom was our first stop in Montréal, where we arrived noshy and searching for a cozy spot to watch Canada play Qatar in the World Cup. Around 18 hr on a Thursday evening we were the only folks there for a little while. Bartender Alex was warm and welcoming. He recommended we order the venison hot dog, Nordic chowder, and French fries. My hubby had a couple of beers and I had an NA brew. Every bite and sip was delicious, and we enjoyed conversation with Alex as the match unfolded. Canada even won 6-0!

Great experience overall. The craft beer selection was impressive, the herring smørrebrød was fresh and very tasty, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place worth visiting again if you enjoy good beer and Scandinavian style food while playing Hnefatafl

The place to watch the habs play offs. With the rarest Delirium beer. Great beer, super chill bar, neat and clean and the service is great. Beer selection is great and cheap. Only place that has DELIRIUM RED on tap.

This place has some of the best beer I have had in the city, they have some really cool brews on on tap and the food and service were exceptional as well. We had the Danish hot dog and the old fashion Herring Smørrebrod and both really great! We had a kick ass evening, everything we are and drank was fantastic, thanks for the great evening.
