Had such a great experience at this restaurant! 🍕🍝 We ordered pizza and pasta, and both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy amazing pizza and pasta, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed a great meal here, we’re Australians visiting Montreal and have been shown so much hospitality! The fried olives were a standout, as was the limoncello cocktail. Our server Nick was perfect and so fun. It’s in a beautiful part of the old town with lots of restaurants and bars and people out and about. Recommend it!

Expensive, mid food, super slow service. Went in a group of 4 for dinner, with reservation. Took us 15 minutes to be seated even though we showed up at reservation time and there were plenty of empty tables, then they forgot about us for 45 minutes (while waiters were passing by us looking at our table). Finally, when we got to order, we ordered food and drinks. The food came first!! We had to wait an extra 10 minutes for our drinks (they were fine drinks). As for the food, it was fine, nobody was super impressed by their dish. If the prices were 60-70% of what they are at this restaurant, then it would be worth it.

my partner and i came here for our first night in montreal and it was the most perfect experience. we each got the $30 special and the bartender even offered to make me my own cocktail when i had trouble deciding. the food was amazing, perfect even, salad to die for, and the atmosphere was romantic and lively and incredible. the service is 10/10, the staff here are so kind and incredible and make me want to tip them way too much then i should. could not give higher praise for anyone in montreal looking for a good time and a perfect meal.

Yummy 😋 Had a date here with my boyfriend and the food was delicious! We both had pizzas that were so good and left us satisfied and stuffed! The tiramisu was also amazing!

Nice place and the staff is super nice and friendly. Had dinner here for new years even and everything went smoothly. I’ve had pizza at many places in the city and this is definitely not my favourite. The pizza is good, but the dough doesn’t stand out as well as the toppings. We had the pepperoni and fungi pizzas. The pepperoni amount is generous and the fungi is not bad. However, the dough isn’t up to par and the pizza doesn’t stand out in any way. Just for the price and I was expecting more, compared to some other places I’ve tried in the city. The bolognese pasta was very underwhelming. The tomato sauce was basic, not a lot of meat. I wouldn’t recommend. If I’m in the area and I crave a quick pizza, I might grab one, other than that, I wouldn’t come back here. The pizza and pasta are pretty mid. However very cute space and good service!

Fun date night at Balboa Pizzeria in Montreal with a great atmosphere and really good food. We shared the mushroom pasta and the margarita pizza and both were delicious. Would definitely come back 🍕✨

The service was mediocre. The appetizer and pasta were just okay but the pizza was terrible! They are cheap on there toppings so all your are eating is ordinary dough. Skip this place, you’re not missing much!
