Great food and service. I think the bagels we bought were too sweet as they were made with unnecessary sugar.

Bagel St-Lo is a vibe. Per usual, we sampled a good amount of the menu and the Benedicts, tuna, and pastries are delicious! The tuna melt is a fresh, warm sandwich, so if you're looking for an American version, this will not be it. We tried the pesto and ranger eggs benedicts and both were exceptional. House coffee was nothing to phone home about, but not bad at all. Soup du jour was also a pleasant surprise and the staff were lovely.

Both the pulled pork bagel and raspberry lemonade were very tasty, well balanced, and overall delicious. The affogato was a nice treat, not too sweet, just lovely

We spent over a week in Montreal and compared the best bagel places, and this one came out on top. Combines the best of a New York bagel and the best of a Montreal bagel into one.

I love everything about this place! Amazing quality bagels with a big menu of different choices. Service is excellent and the staff are super nice! The atmosphere has a great vibe and warmth to it. You can choose your own mug for coffee which I think is fun! I love the bagel with cream cheese and also the one with eggs and avocado!

Very nice breakfast place! I tried all the breakfast menu and each choice has amaizing bagels! Love the variety and the simplicity. Thank you for giving us the best fruit. And bravo to all the staff for making us feel welcomed, wanted and cherished!

We felt so at home here! Food is creative, fresh & served quick. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly & responsive. We'll be back. 22/7/26: And we did come back! And the same ratings & comments apply! The café au lait decaf is the best I've had. The Eggs Benedict are super yum. Jess, who took care of our table, was wonderfully pleasant and solicitous. This review is long overdue as I’ve been in Montreal/Verdun for a year today. St. Lo was the first establishment I visited in Verdun and my first and only taste of Montreal bagels and I haven’t felt the need to try anywhere else! As a longtime barista and shift supervisor, I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewers of all of the great things about this place! Hands-down, this place checks off all the boxes of what a “neighborhood establishment” should be by standing out with their Customer Service (verbally and nonverbally) from their front-of-house staff. First, they’re all very attentive and constantly doing “lobby sweeps” of cleaning off tables, checking in with customers, and keeping the restrooms clean and coffee bar stocked. Secondly, it seems like each person has their own little circle of regulars, which is difficul to achieve on any team! Along with the managers/supervisors and the owner making their rounds. So lastly, I’d like to give extra flowers to our favorite St. Lo Staff, Jess! 💐 They always make us feel warm and welcomed by greeting us upon arrival and checking in on us during our stay. When we get a moment to chit-chat, their personality shines through and makes our visit even brighter! And when we’re on our way out, they always warmly wave us off. Thanks to St. Lo for setting the bar high in bagels and customer service! Grateful to be a neighbor!

Had a really pleasant experience here from start to finish. The ordering process was quick, the staff treated us kindly, and the food was very satisfying. The environment also had a nice energy to it. I’d happily return and recommend it to others.
