We went to this restaurant a while back because we wanted to try authentic Egyptian food. We were very impressed with everything. The salad, bread and hummus he brings out before the main dish is fresh and delicious. The main course we had involved chicken and rice and it was very good as well. It was well worth the wait since that's the only drawback we could find. Which is that the service is a bit slow but acceptable for the quality you're getting. You can tell the owner cares about the quality of the food he serves.
