Truly a hidden gem. The food is amazing and the staff are great. We got the appetizer for 2, beef pho and shrimp banh-mi, very delicious and flavorful choices. Good portions too. Keep up the amazing work tabarakAllah.

We were there with intention of testing out as many items as possible during a Sunday lunch. We ate Fuchkas, Samosas, Daal puri, Haleem, Beef shish and chicken bhuna. All the items were really delicious. Fuchka were very crunchy and mouthfeel, daal puri (3 in a plate) are quite big and delicious, samosas (2 in a plate) are of decent size and taste, beef shish kebab were yummy and of decent portion and chicken bhuna brought us the flavour of back home. A wonderful place to eat!

Delicious food with large portions, relaxed atmosphere with very calming music. Service was pretty fast. Interesting clientele. Point St. Charles has another cool resto on the map.

A cute gem ✨️ located a few minutes from downtown. They start you up with green tea that sets tone and cleanses your palate. We order the vermicelli grilled chicken🍲 and the Beef Pho 🍜 Everything was yummy but the dish that truly shined through was the Beef Pho🍜 The broth was rich and deep in flavor. - Probably one of the few halal Pho options in MTL

Daughter and I picked up a quick banh mi yesterday. Very fresh and delicious. Came with rolls which hit the spot. Service was very pleasant. Thank you we will be back !

Very generous portions for such a low price and the food is AMAZING! We ordered pho, skewers, and the fried chicken and they were all full of flavour and delicious. The staff is also super kind and accommodating. And did I mention that it’s completely halal?! A must for all Montrealers and people visiting.

The owner is an amazing person who is very attentive to his customers needs. It's an amazing fusion that brings halal diversity to Montreal halal food scene. At the time of visit the chicken is hand slaughtered. Alhamdulillah

My boyfriend and myself just came out of the restaurant and I knew I had to immediately right a review (I usually don't) But I must say Baan Lao is the place to go. We both had the pho, and wow! The chicken, the noodles, the broth was amazing and would've had a second bowl if I wasn't so full. The staff is also very kind and welcoming! Definitely will be coming back again, thank you for the delicious food.
