Highly recommend. Delicious high quality Persian food. Appreciated the unique and interesting flavors. Fanny - the owner - was warm and welcoming and explained the various dishes. Looking forward to going back!

I wandered into Azalea by chance, while out looking for dinner after a day of watching bike racing. The restaurant is in a wonderfully cozy space that would be perfect for a date or an anniversary. The chef/owner, Fanny(?) was warm and inviting, and did a great job of explaining the menu. We ordered the chef’s tasting menu, two drinks, and homemade Persian ice cream for dessert. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and very nicely presented, especially the drinks. This is not my first time having Persian food, but it’s definitely some of the best I’ve tried. I would definitely go back to Azalea, and will recommend it to my Iranian friends. ❤️

Portions are small, bread is stale, food is bland. In a land where it's hard to find a bad meal, this place is a complete waste of time and money. The menu is small and somehow every item on it is executed poorly. Move on and find something else

Dear Willie, It was a pleasure meeting you and your group yesterday. I’m sorry to hear that our service and food did not fully meet your expectations. However, I would like to share something respectfully. Before visiting any restaurant, I believe it is important to look at the menu and make sure the type of food and portions are what you are looking for. Every restaurant has its own concept and style. Some people prefer larger portions and more fried or traditional food, while others look for quality, fresh ingredients, and a different dining experience. Since you are a guide and your reviews can influence other people, I would really appreciate it if you could provide the complete picture. For example, you ordered our salmon, which is $15, and it was a good-sized portion for that price. It was also fresh salmon, not frozen, and the sauce was prepared with fresh herbs. We truly appreciate the dishes you ordered and the positive comments you made while you were here. When our team asked whether everything was satisfactory, you told us that the food was delicious. That is why it was surprising and disappointing to later see such a negative review. We completely understand that everyone has different tastes and preferences, and we are always willing to listen to constructive criticism and improve. We will continue working to make our restaurant and service better. At the same time, I believe it is important that we are honest and fair with one another. If something is not to your taste, we would much rather hear about it directly while you are at the restaurant so that we have an opportunity to understand your concerns and, whenever possible, make things better. We had a wonderful meal here. We got the chef’s choice platter which was a delicious selection of small plates from all over Iran. The dolmeh was especially good. We also enjoyed the saffron and cardamom ice cream for dessert. The terrace outback is very pleasant and the woman who owns the restaurant is very nice and knowledgeable about the food.

it was very disappointing, the food did not seemed cooked and most of it was preheated. you can literally hear the microwave in the open kitchen. i do not recommend this place.

Dear Cynthia We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced, but I would like to inquire about those concerns if you don't mind. You mentioned that everything was reheated in the microwave. As you can see, there is no door in our kitchen, allowing visibility to all activities. Furthermore, we do have an Air-fryer that we use occasionally. I have never noticed anyone cooking salmon, Iranian shashka, or chicken sandwiches in the microwave. Another question arises regarding the food not meeting your satisfaction. If this was the case, why did you reorder all our dishes? I understand that our prices are not cheap, but our dishes are made with fresh, homemade ingredients. During your visit, one of our workers asked you how the food was, and you mentioned it was delicious. As a gesture of goodwill, she offered you five different desserts on the house. In the future, please do not hesitate to provide feedback on what you like or dislike, as we strive to ensure our customers are happy. We are dedicated to working hard to meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
