Walked in and was the only customer in the restaurant. Say this to emphasize that the staff were in no way rushing or under pressure. Cook was sitting in a booth on his phone and got up to head towards kitchen. Placed order and mentioned specifics for burger dressing. Cashier disappeared right after I paid and didn’t even wait for the register to print my bill to give it to me. While waiting, noticed cook was handling food with no gloves on and not really sure if hands were washed when he returned to kitchen. Noticed he was preparing burgers differently than I had ordered. Got his attention but could not understand what was being said. Cashier showed up in kitchen and took over cooking and prep. Had to re-explain specifics even though I just told her moments ago and she entered them in the system. Burgers were ready way too quickly, within 2 minutes of ordering. Which is why burgers were dry and looked like they had been cooked a while ago. Seeing as burgers were ready so quickly, it is obvious they were precooked and then just warmed up before being served. This process made them as tender and juicy as the sole of my shoe. Very disappointed in food quality, lack of service, and overall restaurant experience. Closet A&W to my house but will be driving further to get to another location that doesn’t compromise food quality and service for its clients.
