Fantastic breakfast in a great atmosphere. Great service with very friendly waitstaff. Definitely going back.

The salmon bagel is an absolute joke with tiny pieces of bland salmon and a bagel that is not even toasted (or barely)I was shocked to see this served. If it were 5 dollars why not but for 22? No way
I have worked in restaurants for 16 years and I have never written a bad review, but this dinner was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in many years. I had a reservation for a group of 8 at 8:45pm on Saturday. The Carnival parade was still going on when we arrived so the restaurant was pretty quiet. We were sat upstairs and got put in a booth that really only fit 6, but we were fine to squish. At first, everything was great! We ordered drinks and appetizers for the table. During that time, the parade ended and the restaurant filled up. Our waiter was very busy and we understood that service would be delayed. He took our dinner order as we finished the apps around 9:30pm. After that, he did not come back to the table at all. By 10:30pm, our food still hadn’t come, but every table around us was eating so we asked and our waiter who said it was “coming soon”. At 11:00, food finally came. 3 orders were wrong, fries were cold, my chicken was a frozen patty, and all the tables around us were done eating and leaving. Our waiter never checked back in with us to ask how everything was or see if we needed anything. We were done eating and waited even longer for the check. Then he said he took 15% off - “that’s all I can do” he said. 😐 Very very disappointing. Ruined our family’s last night in Quebec. We didn’t leave until 11:30pm and we were one of the last people in the restaurant. Do not recommend, unfortunately. I wish we had the same experience as the other great reviews we read.
Charlotte was very kind and accommodating
Wow. Such a nice place, good food, good service.
The hot chocolate was ok, the menu said it came with whipped cream and a roasted marshmallow but the whipped cream was barely there and they gave me no marshmallow. The burger bun was very dry, the burger in total was cold, not lukewarm, cold and barely had any flavor. The fries were good though.
Perfect place for a morning breakfast. Really nice food and friendly stuff.
Long wait to get inside and long wait to sit then long wait to get served. It’s like forever. The service was not friendly, no welcoming. But the food was delicious, some options weren’t available anymore because they were missing products but there were alternatives. It’s a very nice place to go but needs definitely a strong improvement in their hospitality management.
We had a tasty mushroom eggs Benedict, and apple pain perdu for breakfast, overall, we had a good experience there.
Au Le Petit was a really nice place with a warm, inviting atmosphere and great food. The servings were big and filling, especially for breakfast, and we enjoyed our meal there. However, it was quite crowded during our visit, which made the wait time for food longer than expected. Because of how busy it gets, making a reservation is definitely recommended to avoid long waits. Despite that, the servers were attentive and friendly, doing their best even with the busy dining room. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with generous portions and good service, just be prepared for a bit of a wait if it’s busy.
Threatened to call police when i didn't tip. Food took a while, brunt bacon and cheese on my chicken burger when I asked for no cheese
Great Food foryour money. Comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely be back
Long wait for seating and food Food was ok but nothing special Really noisy and not enought worker for service
Been here a few times and they're just always been inconsistent for us. Went here for dinner the other day and the smash burgers were too dry for our taste but the flavors were really good. Came for breakfast again and it was really busy (reserving a table is highly recommended). Their breakfast food was amazing but the server we had was just really slow and barely gave any attention to us. We were all suited up and ready to head out cause we were waiting for like 15 minutes just to get the bill and she only came because the table beside us needed something and didn't even bother to ask us for anything else. Food wise, its worth reserving but do be ready to wait due to the service.
Service was slow, they were busy, but the food was very good and worth the wait. Then we waited 30 minutes for the bill...
It was our second time; first time was a nice surprise as they found us a place without reservation, and we fell in love with the Canadian environment. We wanted our son to experience it and book a second visit. Unfortunately, this time, the brunch was served cold. Sorry, but eggs Benedict or any egg served cold are not really acceptable. Our 3 orders were classical brunches, and I’m sure they would have been amazing if served properly… Hope no one gets bad luck like us, they are sure a great place to go.
We had a lovely brunch at Au Petit Chalet. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a cozy, rustic charm and a canoe hanging from the ceiling that really adds to the unique atmosphere. The food was very good and overall the experience was enjoyable. The service was friendly, though a bit slow—we ended up receiving our food before our drinks, even though we had ordered classic mimosas. Aside from that hiccup, everything else went smoothly and met our expectations. This spot is quite popular, so I definitely recommend making a reservation to avoid waiting in line outside. A great place for brunch with a charming setting and solid food.
My son loved his burger. It was a great stop for our entire family. Our server was super nice to us. Very good restaurant hope we can come again.
This was on New Years day so clearly the place was packed. The host still managed to get my wife and I a table which I largely appreciated, but unfortunately that's where things took a negative turn. We didn't wait long to order but then had to wait around 45 minutes for our food. The place was obviously understaffed especially considering the day it was. When our plates arrived, 2 simple eggs and sides plates, we were missing cutlery, salt, and napkins. Once we got those we finally got to dig in, only for my wife to notice there were no potatoes at all on my plate, and hers were few and burnt. We were so hungry at that point we just let it be and ate. To be fair, the food itself, aside from the potatoes, were good. One last note that bothered me is my fruit was only orange slices, no melon at all. Not the end of the world but again, it showed how little effort went into preparing our plates. All in all, not a horrible experience but certainly not great. We will not return, especially with so many other close by options.
