Came to stay at this quaint hotel—a lovely stay—and the hospitality at Au Coin was the jewel of our experience. Dined on a very busy Saturday night. We enjoyed the lively vibes with exceptional service despite being absolutely packed. Sunday we returned for Apre after a long day skiing. Highly recommend the French Onion soup! We had it the night before and had it again the next day. So good. The manager, Maeva, remembered our faces and welcomed us warmly. She was a delight and added even more charm to this historic establishment. Hope to return :)

This place really exceeded our expectations! All the meals were great and so was the service I recommend the sweet potato fries and French onion soup
Food was bland, not hot, and extremely slow coming out the kitchen when the place was only half full. Baguette came half way through the meal. Plus, the server seemed to have an issue with the tip.
Came to eat there last Sunday afternoon and made the mistake of ordering what was advertised as a AAA flank steak. For $39 I wasn’t expecting steakhouse quality, but still. The steak was cold with an even colder chunk of compound butter on top that just would not melt. Took a few bites and it was unseasoned and soooooo chewy that I ended up spitting most of it out. What got me was the waitress’ response when I let her know that the steak was inedible due to how chewy it was. She condescendingly argued that I must not know that flank is meant to be a little bit textured and that she’d served several of them that day with no complaints. There’s a difference between a steak that has a bit of texture, which I actually prefer over more tender cuts, and that chewy, flavorless mess I got. She offered to box my meal for me when I said I didn’t want it anymore (why would I want to take that thing home??), but I opted to just return my mostly untouched plate. She took a measly 5$ and change off the bill for the in inconvenience. My husband paid for the bill to keep the peace, his decision. As someone who previously worked in the restaurant industry in one form or another for almost 25 years, there is no way I would charge a customer for a meal that was inedible. At least hubby enjoyed his burger and salad.
Great atmosphere, but some of their more aspirational menu items aren’t quite dialed in (notably the Brussels and the braised beef).
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.
Great food but terrible service, if you’re not a girl or someone that speaks only French it’s not the place to go. Me and my brother went and waited 10 minutes before the bartender/server handed us a menu, after we ordered food my brother simply asked the man (server) for ketchup he never brought us ketchup so we asked again and once again he never brought us anything but he handed the young girls next to us anything they wanted, and same with the man sitting next to us. He definitely just has something against men that only speak English in my opinion because the girls next to us spoke only English but he was doing anything in his power to talk to them….
All was exceptional.
On one of the coldest days of the year (-35C) we ended up here after several hours of ski/snowboard. They gave us table choice and ended up seating us near the fireplace and turned it on for us without us even asking, making for an amazing, cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent, attentive but not “in your face”. The food came out within a reasonable amount of time and was warm, fresh and delicious. A late afternoon pitcher and some food was exactly what we needed. This place is our new Tremblant go-to. We will be back.
We ended up here expecting basic pub fare, but it was so much more. The food was incredible, our server was attentive and it turned out to be possibly the best food/meal of our trip. The braised beef was rich and tender, a great comfort food and the beef tartare was some of the best we've had. The kids fish and chips was generous and great quality. We did wait a while for the food, but the kids got their food earlier and we were quite happy to relax with our drinks. Thanks for a great experience!
Really great food, fun local vibe, would come back again.
My friend and I went after snow tubing and the first thing we ordered was the French onion soup to warm up. It tasted really nice but I wasn’t a fan of the small slices of bread in the soup. Smaller croutons with additional bread on the side would have been my preference. The lasagna was also made with a creamy white sauce, it also tasted very good especially with the balsamic vinegarette. It wasn’t was I was expecting to be honest but I still enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice and cozy and the service was really good.
We didn’t have reservations, so we took a drive around town and stumbled upon Au Coin, tucked away at the bottom of a hotel. Turns out there’s some real history tied to the hotel, which added a nice layer of character to the whole experience. We were seated right away, and from there everything went uphill but in a good way. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name to give her props but she has some interesting tats on her arm) was honestly one of the best we’ve had in a long time. She was incredibly attentive, especially with the kids, making sure they were happy while also taking great care of us. That kind of service goes a long way. The restaurant itself is cozy, homey, and welcoming—exactly what you want after a cold day in Tremblant. Everything about the experience felt easy and comfortable. This was one of those unplanned meals that turns into a highlight of the trip. Without a doubt, we’d come back again.
Went for a quick bite today. Hadn't eaten yet and we got there a little before 3pm. I had to wait until 3:45 to order. Got my starter finally after waiting over an hour. My girlfriend had to wait one hour and twenty five minutes before she got any food. Looks like a better spot just to drink at. It was the day after new years eve so I wasn't drinking. They barley gave any water and my glass was empty the whole time constantly asking for more and only getting half pours.. I was so dehydrated and just wanted water. One thing that bothered us is we saw a table seated at least 30 minutes after us and they got their food before us. They were also a group of 6. Oh and the place is cold with constant drafts from the doors all being held open by customers coming and going so I'd recommend asking for a seat far from the door
