It was a great experience 👌 The food was delicious, and the decor was beautiful and comfortable with a very relaxing atmosphere. Most importantly, the restaurant is halal and has a prayer room, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended 👍

Atlas Uyghur Restaurant — Halal Chinese in Montreal, highly recommend! We’re from Ottawa and decided to visit Montreal for the Easter long weekend. One of my friends recommended Atlas Uyghur Restaurant because he knows I love Chinese food but only eat halal meat. I ordered the sizzling beef with fried rice and it was absolutely delicious — the flavors and the sizzle brought me right back to my favorite hometown spot, Loon Tao. The green tea with goji berries was also excellent — refreshing and a perfect finish. The atmosphere is nice with traditional ornaments that give it a cozy, authentic feel. What really stood out was Muhammad, the young son of the family that owns the restaurant. His hospitality and kindness were incredible — you can’t put a price on that kind of warmth. He made us feel genuinely welcome. I wish Muhammad and the family at Atlas Uyghur all the very best. I highly recommend this place not just for the food (which is excellent), but so everyone can experience Muhammad’s warmth and kindness.
Good Halal food !!! Just be sure if you order big chicken and ask the exact description.. it is like Pakistans Aalu chicken gravy you cook at home.. rest lamb skewer and hand pulled noodles are must try
Excellent experience!Very delicious!
Delicious and so friendly!
Went there with friends and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, perfect if you’re looking to try authentic Uyghur cuisine. The staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!
I ordered the beef sizzling, chicken soup, plain rice and for desert I have had the most perfect Yogurt of my Canadian life. But, I would definitely recommend the Beef Sizzling, it’s the must try whenever you visit this amazing family owned restaurant.
Very good food for good price! And cozy place
Amazing place+ amazing people+ amazing food
Lamb skewers and soup are to die for Will come back
I tried Uyghur food here for the first time and fell in love with this cuisine immediately! Unique combination of Middle East and Chinese cuisines that takes the best of both worlds! Atlas does an incredible job in all possible way. This is the favourite Asian restaurant of us and many of our friends!
It was absolutely amazing! The food is great! The service is fantastic and very polite! It’s a calm environment with beautiful views and decorations! I recommend this place for good food, good service and to relax. I went for the first time with my mom and I couldn’t be happier. 🌷⭐️🙏
Excellent !
One of the best restaurants in Montreal. Authentic flavour with healthy options. The place is sparking clean and the family running it are very professional and welcoming. So glad we found it.
Overall good food. We got the hand pulled laghman noodles which could have had more meat and the chicken sizzler which was a bit too salty and oily
lamb skewers and naan kebab are pretty decent m, taste very authentic, just like in Xinjiang.
Some food are delicious, strongly recommend the big plate chicken and nann.
Great amazing authentic food really nice environment fast service
This was my first time trying a Xinjiang restaurant, and it was an amazing experience. A friend and I came here for lunch, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with traditional cultural objects, which made the atmosphere feel very authentic and welcoming. We ordered the milk tea, which was surprisingly salty but still tasted quite good. For food, we had the braised lamb, lamb skewers, and cucumber salad. The braised lamb was definitely our favorite — it comes with naan bread already soaked in the sauce. Personally, I might prefer having the bread on the side for dipping, but the flavors of the dish were excellent regardless. Overall, a great introduction to Xinjiang cuisine, and I’d happily come back to try more dishes.
Soooo goood and yummyy kebabs my kids never ate kababs but they ate all I order again!!
We visited **Atlas** with my family and had an amazing experience. This place used to be Dolan (Uyghur restaurant)—I’m not sure if it’s a rebrand or new owners, but the menu has changed and it changed for the best. I had been there before the name change, and the food was already good back then, but honestly it feels even better now—everything we tried was delicious and very flavorful, especially the sizzling dishes 😋 On top of that, the owner and employees were so friendly and welcoming. It really gave that family-owned vibe. At the end, they even offered us tea on the house, which we really appreciated. I will definitely be coming back, and I’ll be bringing other people with me. I absolutely recommend this place to others. I just wish I had taken pictures—but I was too busy devouring the food!
