This was my first time trying a Xinjiang restaurant, and it was an amazing experience. A friend and I came here for lunch, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with traditional cultural objects, which made the atmosphere feel very authentic and welcoming. We ordered the milk tea, which was surprisingly salty but still tasted quite good. For food, we had the braised lamb, lamb skewers, and cucumber salad. The braised lamb was definitely our favorite — it comes with naan bread already soaked in the sauce. Personally, I might prefer having the bread on the side for dipping, but the flavors of the dish were excellent regardless. Overall, a great introduction to Xinjiang cuisine, and I’d happily come back to try more dishes.

We visited **Atlas** with my family and had an amazing experience. This place used to be Dolan (Uyghur restaurant)—I’m not sure if it’s a rebrand or new owners, but the menu has changed and it changed for the best. I had been there before the name change, and the food was already good back then, but honestly it feels even better now—everything we tried was delicious and very flavorful, especially the sizzling dishes 😋 On top of that, the owner and employees were so friendly and welcoming. It really gave that family-owned vibe. At the end, they even offered us tea on the house, which we really appreciated. I will definitely be coming back, and I’ll be bringing other people with me. I absolutely recommend this place to others. I just wish I had taken pictures—but I was too busy devouring the food!

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic!! From the traditional decor to the simply delicious blend of spices Atlas Uyghur restaurant is sensational! I can’t recommend this place enough especially to those who enjoy Uyghur cuisine or are ready to try something new. The tea is definitely a highlight and worth ordering.

Had amazing experience dining here. Such a lovely family restaurant and super delicious food. They have authentic Uyghur Lamb Kebab which was my favorite. My wife had Sizzling Beef and it was also very delicious. We also tried Pilov, rice was really flavourful and lamb was very soft. Inside the restaurant is very cozy with cultural decorations.

Exceptional Uyghur cuisine at the south shore of Montreal. The food is so flavourful and the service is impeccable by a very kind Uyghur family. Try the sizzling chicken and the rice. I highly recommend this unique place.
