The food is always incredible. The service is ok with some unfortunate delays and mistakes. Even with a reservation, there’s little organization and people who put a credit card down for a reserved table have to wait to be seated after walk-in customers, which for us meant waiting 15m to be seated past our reservation time (on some days I’ve been they have separate lines which seems more appropriate considering how popular they are as a breakfast/brunch spot).

A wonderful location in the heart of Place Ville Marie. There was a bit of a line to get in but we had reservations. Wait time for food was a little long, but the smorgasbord was impeccable. Very nice brunch spot!

The service wasn't the most friendly. The location is beautiful but the music at 10am was blasting like it's a nightclub; I'm not sure how many customers actually want that? The food was great and quite unique.

I usually love Arthur’s at Cathcart. The food and service are, most of the time, great, but the experience I had earlier today was the worst by far. Aloa, my waitress, provided a horrible service. I had to ask for water twice and she didn’t even bother checking on my table. Two other waiters were the ones who brought my food. Not once did she ask if everything was ok. It was like we didn’t exist. All the other tables she was serving had a bottle of water while I had to chase her down for a refill. She also messed up my order. Even though the food was amazing, I will not be coming back again if the service continues dragging the place down.

Unfortunately this was the worse customer service I’ve experienced. No organization. Took them 40 minutes to take our order, people that came after us got their food and left. Also the portions are a lot smaller than the original restaurant. Don’t waste your time here

Yes, they are one of the best brunch spots in Montreal. They have a great menu, with dishes executed to a very high standard. The coffee could be better to match the quality of the food. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and have no complaints. Service is generally good, especially at the Cathcart location, which accepts reservations and feels less chaotic than the St-Henri one. The space is also beautiful.

Nice place, good food but expect the bite of high prices. I got an avocado toast, with 1 egg and thin slice of smoked salmon with a side of potatoes, no coffee or alcohol and I paid (for one person) +$50 tips included. Portions are fairly small if you were wondering but the food is good. For gluten or lactose intolerance they have very little option, meaning 1 that had no cheese on it, the avocado toast. My friends paid around the same but general consensus … and again food and the quality of the ingredients was also good.

The food was AMAZING!!! I can't stop thinking about it. I got the pancakes, fries and salami sandwich. It was so heavenly. When I tell you the fries was so soft and the inside and crispy on the outside, literal perfection! Everything was great. The only downside was the service, it was quite busy that day and there wasn't enough waitresses so we had to wait a while to order and ask for the bill.

The cottage cheese pancakes might honestly be the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life light, fluffy and absolutely unforgettable. We also tried the deluxe breakfast sandwich, the latkes and the babka and every single bite was outstanding. The service was warm, quick and genuinely friendly. And the atmosphere at Le Cathcart especially with that beautiful natural winter light pouring in makes the whole experience even more special. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit.

I loved the fact that you can make a reservation and that there’s parking at the mall. However, the food quality isn’t the same as at the original location. The pancakes were good, but much smaller than usual. It feels that it doesn’t worth the price. Arthur’s sandwich was tasty, but the tons of butter on the bread made it heavier.

Everything was excellent! The food was delicious, I ordered an avocado sandwich and loved it, everything was so fresh. The place itself is very beautiful and spacious, both inside the restaurant and in the area under the glass. The service from the waiters was very good.

Arthur’s was the place at the top of my list to try on our weekend getaway to Montreal. Ordered the grand slam, my partner ordered the seasonal French toast. Food was AMAZING - but one service mistake ruined the whole experience for us. When asking for the bill I asked if my food could be packed to go, as we had to run to catch the train (excited to finish our food once boarded). I had half my plate left, my partner had almost his full plate. But instead of packing our food to go our server accidentally dumped the plates out instead. He apologized profusely, but the damage was done. Nothing left but apologize. I don’t blame him but I was left feeling extremely disappointed.
