Came on Tuesday Oct 27 at 12pm I never met a ruder hostess ever girl named Alex , totally disrespectful/ clearly hates her job - Furthermore - everyone else on the table got their food, and 2 guests waited a EXTRA 30 minutes after finishing the food the pancakes. Rude staff

The food was tasty and delicious, very similar to the original Nosh Bar on Notre-Dame! Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The waitresses were not attentive and rarely came to our table to check if we needed anything, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy! I really didn’t want to leave a negative review, especially since we enjoyed the food, but it wasn’t just one waitress. It seemed to be a pattern. We ended up waiting 45 minutes just to get our bill after finishing brunch!

The food was delicious (the pancakes are famous for a reason!) and the ambience was also great! However, the service was lacking. My table received their lattes and it took more than 20 minutes and 2 reminders for the server to bring my filter coffee, which should have been the quickest drink. We also had to prompt the server for everything getting the bill, retelling them our orders for the bill and then correcting our bills, etc. Plus, the restaurant was not full. Overall amazing food and great ambience but with that kind of service, i'll order as a takeout.

Compared to the other location we were quite disappointed. They had no espresso so very limited coffee options and no fruits for the pancakes even though the menu mentions to ask for the seasonal fruits.

Honestly I would rather wait in line at their normal location than eat here. Arthurs is known for their pancakes but the ones at this location are much much tinier, and don’t come with any fruit. They said they sometimes have banana ones but didn’t have the day I went, but they never have it with blueberries or strawberries. Truthfully not worth it.

We had a reservation, the host was very rude and unwelcoming, told us outside seating is only for big groups, while he sat at least 3 other couples outside. Racist.

Very disappointing experience. Despite having a reservation, we were met with a hostile and dismissive attitude from the host. He informed us that patio seating was exclusively reserved for large parties, yet within minutes, he proceeded to seat three separate couples outside. Blunt selective treatment and dishonesty, not surprised!

I’ve visited this place in 4 different occasions and it’s really loosing its charm. The pancakes used to be a bit better and the food not so greasy that it becomes even a bit uncomfortable to feel in the mouth. It’s not the cheapest place so it could be better

Not quite as good as the original location on St. Henri because it does not have the full menu because of kitchen limitations but really good if you need an order of syrniki or a MacArthur. Still has a lineup when it opens at 11:00 am.

The brunch never disappoints! I highly recommend this spot since you can reserve a table and so don’t need to wait in line, and it is a spacious space. Their pancakes are the best in town!

We were walk-ins (no reservation), and we checked-in with the receptionist to ask for a wait time. She told us that there were no tables available and that we were welcome to wait, and we did. A table opened up, and she seated another couple before us (they arrived after us). We tried to talk to the front again, this time a man with glasses (I presume the manager), and he said he couldn’t do anything because he wasn’t the one who talked to us before. Don’t come here for walk-ins, or expect to be treated fairly.

Such amazing food, the syrniki cottage cheese pancakes with blueberry are a must, probably one of the best pancakes I’ve had, everything was great, ambience is nice, I will say we had some trouble finding the place but other than that it was lovely and the staff were great too! I’d recommend having a reservation for better seating! Will definitely be coming back

A lot of low reviews reference seeing several empty tables, from folks that didn't make a reservation. Busy (and quality) restaurants stagger reservations to serve the majority of folks in a timely manner. We made ours 2 days in advance and had an excellent experience. The latkes, avocado toast and even the side bagel were top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant, but make a reservation in advance and don't rate it low because of your poor planning.
