We Loved our visit to Archibald Microbrasserie at Montréal Airport — great atmosphere, great beer, and great service. It felt far more like a proper brewpub than an airport restaurant, and everything was fresh and flavourful. A perfect pre‑flight treat.
What guests say about Archibald Microbrasserie
The reviews mainly highlight fast, friendly, and attentive service, with a pleasant atmosphere, even for an airport restaurant. On the food side, several people liked the poutine, burgers, nachos, soups, and breakfasts, saying it’s a good option before a flight or during a layover. However, many find the prices high, and a few customers were disappointed by certain burgers or by the quality/portion size of some dishes. Overall, it is often seen as a better choice than other airport options, especially if you want a decent meal with good service.

Great food and drink
It's an airport bar. Trapped environmental with extortionate prices. Plus a top environment.
Great food for an Airport and great service
Pretty good stop before heading to the gate. Just had a cheescake & tea - tasty 👍
Great place to kill time at YUL, great beer, food and service, no disappointments, enjoy
Rating this based on my experience with most airport restaurants. Found the menu good, food on par with any chain pizza/brewery place, and the service was excellent. Prompt and attentive and they didn't rush us out the door when we were finishing up as they were closing.
For an airport restaurant it's affordable when even mcdoh and time prices are in the $10 range. Decent pub style food and good beer along with great service
Its just too expensive. I know its an airport and they always jack the prices up but the prices there are ridiculous. 24$ for a poutine, 17$ for a pint of beer. Anywhere else and they'd but shut in a week, no one would go there for that price
Wow wow wow!!! The French onions soup was to die for!
Very good option when you’re at the airport, since they offer choices other than typical fast food. The salmon salad was tasty, although the portion was a bit small.
The service was great but thr food here was not the best, the cheese on my nachos was barley melted and nothing else looked all that good, especially for thr prices I would recommend just going to thr Tim hortons.
We ordered 3 beers, 8 chicken wings (no carrots or celery) and 2 shrimp tacos and the after tax bill came to $98. A little pricey for what you get.
Oh my god. You expect to get gouged a bit at the airport. But $15 for a beer‽ The pizza was ok but there's no amount of quality or service that justifies the cost.
7🌟 experience for YUL
Lovely place and really good food , poutine was delicious
This place is the next level for airport food
In an age of really excellent burgers this was one of the worst burgers I have had in a while. In all honesty a McDonald’s burger is better. I ordered their Archibald burger. It came out fairly quickly but the patty was barely warm, the cold cheese sitting on top, not melted at all. The bacon was also cold. I’d guess the patties and bacon are cooked in advance and just heated up (barely). The burger patty was dry. In addition it was served with chips that were overcooked and very brown yet soggy and like, the burger, not hot. A major disappointment for $26.
Typical airport food. Expensive but tasty. Efficient and friendly bartender
This place is a breath of fresh air and definitely breaks the stereotype of bad airport food options. Especially appreciated the incredibly friendly service from the folks at the bar, and the goat cheese burger & cocktail I had could hold its own anywhere. Highly recommend stopping here the next time you're going through YUL — I know I will be.
9/10: Archibald burger (juicy, tasty) 7/10: Beef poutine (fries got soggy under weight of toppings) Excellent friendly service with food coming out in record time.
Had a couple hours lay over and decided to catch the Blue Jays home opener at Archibalds. First time there. We shared a plate of shredded beef nachos. Probably the best nachos we have had, ever. Yup I was surprised too. Loaded with veggies, cheese, queso fresco, it was lovely
Always a great place to eat before a flight.
A little let down. Had a layover in Montreal and of course I am going to eat a Montreal smoked meat sandwich. Would have been better off eating one on the plane or at any Costco... Poutine and beer were good.
Nice enjoying, soothing area. Clean tables and floors. Good food service. Food and drinks well made.
