A great classic dinner atmosphere, great service, and good food. Wish they would take down the covid-era plexiglass from the booths. It makes the booths feel closed in and spoils the atmosphere with the constant reminder of the pandemic.
The bakery side has pies and other treats in the bakery side fridges. That section remains open after the restaurant closes - you just pay for your items at the store counter. Pies are pretty decent (coconut cream and wicked chocolate cream pies) - about $20 and change. Real whipped cream!!! They even do gluten-free. I do find some of the treats a little too heavily reliant on sugar though (like with some of their cookies ... buzzing with a sugar rush afterwards). Washrooms too! It is a major truck stop - so the store, pumps, and washrooms are always open (just the restaurant and bakery sections close up).

Sherry made our dinner experience outstanding. She was warm and attentive. She approached us to check on our dinner. And it's the first, Her timing was impeccable,we were able to answer. I so love when your server, gives you a chance to chew your food. Before the question. And yes, your food was delicious . We have never been disappointed in 30 years .
Best food stop and every time I am in the area i stop in! Great staff fast service and building and restrooms are spotless. Grate place to fuel up. That is why they get a top rating from me. And great walleye fishing in Arnprior area as well. 🤓🐟

This truck stop’s restaurant was genuinely very good! I paired my eggs Benedict with a ginger ale and enjoyed sipping on their butter tart milkshake which my friend let me try. Their butter tarts are very good as the poster recommends

I am being generous with a rating of 1. My family of four ordered two turkey dinners, one fish dinner and the pork schnitzel. The turkey on the dinner was turkey loaf; not real turkey. The meal was ok but uneventful. The fish was mainly over cooked batter. It was hard to find the fish in the tremendous amount of batter. The schnitzel was dark brown over cooked meat. It looked awful but my son said it was edible but would never order it again. The fries seemed stale; they had been sitting in the drying/cooling rack for some time. This place fills the hunger gap and has friendly staff but you can probably make a better meal at home. Would not recommend for anything but breakfast. The breakfasts are ok but nothing special. RESPONSE TO RESTAURANT FEEDBACk Rather than address the shortcomings of your restaurant, you deflect in an attempt to discredit the feedback. I have eaten at many restaurants in your town and been very satisfied; including your restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The unanimous feedback from my family on the dinner meals was negative - non of us would go back. Your response should be to fix the problems so we would give it another try. Serving turkey loaf for the turkey dinner; really ! That is disgusting and amateurish. Fix your dinner meals, rather than discredit the feedback. The meals were disgusting. No response from the owner about fixing the disgusting meal. That is why I have reduced the rating from a 2 to a 1. I wish I could have given it a 0.
