This truck stop’s restaurant was genuinely very good! I paired my eggs Benedict with a ginger ale and enjoyed sipping on their butter tart milkshake which my friend let me try. Their butter tarts are very good as the poster recommends

I am being generous with a rating of 1. My family of four ordered two turkey dinners, one fish dinner and the pork schnitzel. The turkey on the dinner was turkey loaf; not real turkey. The meal was ok but uneventful. The fish was mainly over cooked batter. It was hard to find the fish in the tremendous amount of batter. The schnitzel was dark brown over cooked meat. It looked awful but my son said it was edible but would never order it again. The fries seemed stale; they had been sitting in the drying/cooling rack for some time. This place fills the hunger gap and has friendly staff but you can probably make a better meal at home. Would not recommend for anything but breakfast. The breakfasts are ok but nothing special. RESPONSE TO RESTAURANT FEEDBACk Rather than address the shortcomings of your restaurant, you deflect in an attempt to discredit the feedback. I have eaten at many restaurants in your town and been very satisfied; including your restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The unanimous feedback from my family on the dinner meals was negative - non of us would go back. Your response should be to fix the problems so we would give it another try. Serving turkey loaf for the turkey dinner; really ! That is disgusting and amateurish. Fix your dinner meals, rather than discredit the feedback. The meals were disgusting. No response from the owner about fixing the disgusting meal. That is why I have reduced the rating from a 2 to a 1. I wish I could have given it a 0.

Best place for food between Ottawa and Deep River
Wow great food ... waitress was awesome with our visit.. asked to speak to the manager to say how great the service was and she was the boss... good was incredible I face for the first time in along time left feeling very very full ... atmosphere although incredibly busy... felt fine... not to loud lots of positive energy bathrooms were clean... every single person we met was very positive.... can't wait to stop hesr again oh and it was nice sort of a celebration our son had so.e testing at cheo and positive results thankyou
So unfortunate that the score is a 3. Food is just absolutely AMAZING!!! quality, taste, flavor... Just great. Even the kids raved about the food. However the service. Awful. Waitress we had, tone was miserable and cold and short. Not happy to be there. When we asked questions seemed exasperated. Would have been a 5 if service had matched the food quality.
An excellent place to stop on the highway to/from Ottawa-North Bay. Good food, nice dining area, convenience shop, fuel, washrooms.
What a great place to stop by to fuel up, take a break and grab a bite to eat. Nice little gift shop, a good restaurant with a big surprise as you walk in(I won't say what it is, see it for yourself). The bakery is is awesome but too expensive though. I used to buy my blueberry pies there but now it's not affordable.
I was excited when I heard about the Poutine Fest at the Truck Stop. I couldn’t wait to see what they had on the menu. The second I saw *big dill*, I knew it was a must-try… and WOW. I have to say, it was absolutely outstanding. Did not disappoint one bit - the flavors were unreal and everything just worked perfectly together. If you’re even thinking about trying it… do it. That pickle poutine is a game changer!

Great service! The food was amazing! Highly recommend the Hunters Variety for breakfast. The portions were perfect. Two eggs, two slices of crispy bacon, two sausages, ham,home fries with onions and toast! And these two small fluffy pancakes were amazing! Highly recommended!
