The atmosphere is quite cozy with the greenery and the wooden interior design. It really soothes you seeing all that which makes the dining experience much better. The service was friendly but throughout the meal, I don't remember seeing any of the waiters or waitresses smile. They were quite polite though. The food itself was so pretty. It felt a bit wrong biting into the food or drinking the lattes but it tasted quite nice! I really enjoyed the flavour profiles, they really complemented each other. The portions were quite big as well. The price looks intimidating, around 25$ for a plate, but the portions were almost enough for 2, especially if you are having a latte on the side.

✨ Antipode: The most photogenic brunch in MTL!✨ As a self-proclaimed brunch expert, I’ve seen it all in Montréal, but Antipode Laurier definitely brings something unique to this city’s brunch scene. If you’re looking for a "one-time" bucket list brunch that will make your followers jealous, this is it!!! The Atmosphere & Service: We arrived at 11:00 AM on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately (party of 3 people). The décor feels incredibly authentic and curated, creating a vibe that is upscale yet cozy. The service was 10/10; attentive, professional, and fast! The Food (A Flavor Journey): The dishes here aren’t just food; they are art. • The Lattes: The blue and pink lattes are showstoppers. Not just pretty, the floral and earthy notes were perfectly balanced. • The Mains: You can taste the complexity in every bite. Whether it's the smoked salmon on brioche or the savory waffles, the flavor profiles are layered and sophisticated. They aren’t playing it safe here, and I appreciate that. The "But" (The Price Tag 💸): Here is the honest truth: the pricing is significantly higher than other top-tier brunch spots in the city offering similar quality. While the food is great, the "Brunch Tax" here is real. The Verdict: • Would I go back? Probably not, given the price point. • Do I recommend it? YES—100% at least once. You have to experience the presentation and the vibe at least once. It’s a 5-star experience with a 3-star price tag!

Their œuf à la crème is amazing! It’s served in a belle with smoke trapped in it. A must try!

I was very surprised by this place. We had to wait a bit to get in but the food was AMAZING. I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen such care taken in the preparation of the dishes. Beautiful work. I’ll definitely be back.

It was super, I loved it, the place is located in an ancient building but is charming, the attention was good and the food was really good, well presented and the most important delicious.

Delicious food, wonderful for a brunch. I especially recommend the chakchouka. Don't expect a lazy visit with no stress, the place is packed and as soon as you're done you will likely have to leave because of the lineup at the door..

The food is very bad, and the service is also very bad. I ordered dishes with cheese, and he must wait until all the dishes are ready before giving them to us. As a result, the taste is very hard and very salty. It's not worth the tip of up to 17% at all.

As someone who considers themselves a brunch expert, I feel comfortable giving a precise review of Antipode. The food is good, with an interesting complexity of flavors. Their house hollandaise sauce is unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere — more aromatic and distinctive (even though some of my friends didn’t love its appearance). The service is excellent, and the décor feels very authentic. So what’s the issue? The price. It stands out compared to other brunch spots offering similar quality. It feels even less accessible when you consider that the eggs Benedict do not come with potatoes or salad — you only get the eggs Benedict themselves, which is uncommon compared to most places. Because of that, the value for money isn’t great. On the day I went, the wait wasn’t too bad — just a small group ahead of us. I wouldn’t go back, but I do recommend going once to try it.

The lattes and food were amazing!! Loved the lattes and both meals we got. It’s quite a decent amount of food too! The server was maybe having a bad day because they weren’t very friendly.

The food here tastes as good as it looks, and thats saying a lot since its among the most aesthetic restaurant food I have ever ordered. As seen in the pictures the lattes are insanely beautiful and im inspired to try this for myself. The pistachio latte in particular was delicious! For the food, the smoked salmon poached eggs are my favorite poached eggs ive had, probably because I think the avocado béarnaise sauce is such a great idea. The flowers to garnish were so pretty. The truffle fries were so good (and huge), as was the shakshuka. The pictures of the yuzu french toast speak for itself, seriously an impressive presentation. The pistachio cheesecake was a lovely dessert with an inventive touch of balsamic flavor. Our waitress was very helpful—whether you are a tiktok influencer or not you wont be disappointed at Antipode.
