Very Bad experience. not taking order correctly and take your money - make you wait and tell you kitchen is closed. Really bad experience. Not recommended.
What guests say about Antep Kabab
Antep Kabab receives a lot of praise for its sandwiches, especially the chicken, kebab, and fresh bread, with several customers finding the food very tasty, fresh, and generously filled. Many reviews also highlight good value for money and dishes that evoke Turkish cuisine. On the downside, the wait can be long and the service is sometimes seen as uneven or not very courteous. If you’re mainly looking for a good sandwich, it’s a very popular option; if you’re in a hurry, it may be less convenient.

Top tier sandwiches with such tender meat. We used to come here when we were tourists and go out of our way because it was just that good. They've had consistently good food for over 7 years and is my go-to restaurant downtown now. PS: Don't let the outside and decor fool you, it's worth it.
The kebab here is just really good. Fresh bread made in house, well balanced with a nice sauce and vegetables. Nothing fancy, just solid food done right. One of the best bites in Montreal.
Bread is wowww
Love it!
Best sandwich in MTL!
Amazing staff, me and my buddy come in all the time and they take great care of us. They know our orders and names by heart, delicious sandwiches, borderline addictive. The chicken sandwich is by far the best, but all of the options on the menu are always a delight and relatively affordable given today’s economy.
Food is delicious. Spicy chicken burger is to die for !!! A must try. You have to wait a bit but it's worth it.
Best place for a chicken sandwich!
I've been coming here for a while and genuinely love what this place has to offer. The food has always been the reason I keep coming back — solid ingredients, generous portions, and a menu worth being proud of. That's exactly why it's frustrating to watch things start to slide. On my most recent visit, my order was taken incorrectly. Not a big deal on its own — mistakes happen. But when I politely pointed it out, I was met with visible irritation from the staff member at the counter. Eye rolls and attitude are not something any paying customer should have to deal with, especially when *they* made the error. There's something disheartening about watching a good business lose its edge. You've built something worth coming back to — don't let it unravel because of poor customer service. One unprofessional interaction can undo years of goodwill, and it would be a shame to see that happen here. My hope is that management takes note and addresses this before it becomes the norm. The food still deserves better than the experience surrounding it. I'll give it another shot, but the bar needs to be higher.
I’ve been a regular customer, but this was my final visit. I ordered a platter and waited over an hour while people who came in after me got their food first. There seems to be no organization at all orders are handled randomly and nobody keeps track of who’s been waiting. I also saw food sitting on the counter while staff stood around talking over it, which wasn’t exactly reassuring. Being busy is one thing, but this place is consistently disorganized. After giving it chance after chance, I won’t be coming back.
If you have an hour to waste, definitely go to this place. No doubt the food is good, but they have no system and very poor management. You order one sandwich and they make you wait an hour while serving people who came after you just because they know them. Poor, poor management. I ordered a platter, and mind you, there were 7 people working there at that moment, all making chicken doner. No one even touched the platter since it required more work. Anyways, they left my platter sitting uncovered on the shelf for an hour while everyone kept talking around it. Very poor hygiene. I will not be going to this place again.
“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve accepted an offer to have the best sandwich I’ve ever tried in my life. These sandwiches are the definition of being made with love. In every magical bite of this heaven sent meal, I can feel the depths of Türkiye - from Marmara to Anatolia. To those who work so hard to fill both my stomach and heart every time I come here, thank you.
great food
This place was my favorite until yesterday! I haven't been there for a few months and yesterday was a shock. The fillet mignon was a scam, it was not as it used to be : very dry, different texture and tasteless. Moreover, the pieces of meat were very tiny and the quantity was a lot less than before...too much bread and very few tiny pieces of meat...Total scam...am definitely not going back anymore.
One the best kabab places.
spicy chicken sandwich highly recommend
The bread is a banger. Top 2 sandwich in mtl
Delicious food, I ordered chicken sandwiches, if it has more sauce, I would like it more.
This has to be one of the best kabab spots in the area, the fresh baked bread coupled with the delicious kabab and condiments made for a perfect dinner sandwich. Will definitely be visiting again!
Best sandwich in town. Better than the place across the street ferrrsure
So glad I stopped in. The service is great and everything is super fresh and done in a great orderly fashion. I can’t wait to go back. I recommend this place to everyone
Food took around 40 minutes to come.
Reminds me of Istanbul! The meat melts in ur mouth! The bread is freshly made, everything is fresh and clean. I had the lamb sandwich. The prices are very reasonable.
Delicious lamb kebabs with freshly baked bread, highly recommended!
