On Saturday, we decided to try Ancien Four Marinelli, located at 9025 Boulevard Maurice-Duplessis. We ordered two portions of lasagna, and it turned out to be a huge mistake. The lasagna was extremely messy, but we were told it was freshly made, so we initially gave it the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the sauce was far too acidic and tasted unpleasant. But the worst part came when I transferred the lasagna from its container onto a plate: I found a long, black hair in the food. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. No one in my house has black hair. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed with this experience. Between the unpleasant taste and the lack of proper food hygiene, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. Never again! This experience has completely put us off returning. I would not recommend this place based on our experience.
