I’m giving this restaurant a 3-star rating for the following reasons. We were celebrating my dad’s birthday, so I called ahead to ask a few questions before making a reservation. I had seen on Instagram that they offer a dry ice “smoke” presentation with their platters, which I thought would be a fun experience—especially for the kids. When I called, I was told this would be available. However, when we arrived and ordered our platter, we were informed that they had run out of dry ice the day before due to high demand. While it’s understandable to run out of certain items, it was disappointing to have been told otherwise over the phone. We also ordered the platter for five people, and lamb—my favorite—was listed on the menu. The waiter informed us that they didn’t have lamb and then added that lamb is no longer included on that platter. It was confusing to still see it listed on the menu. Additionally, as it was our first visit, we had several questions about the dishes, but the waitstaff were not able to clearly explain many of them, which made the experience less comfortable. That said, the food itself was good, and the portion sizes were generous.
