When my mom was working in Montreal, she'd occasionally bring back baklava boxes from Amir and they were great, so when I saw one while in town for an appointment, I decided to go try their other dishes Ordered the merguez poutine and was warned by the friendly (and handsome) staff that it'd take 15-20 minutes to heat up. Well that's fine, grabbed one of their baklava boxes to start, and listened to the music while I waited When it was ready, I asked them to add some of their garlic sauce since I've heard it's especially good here, and took it to go.. wow, this is good. The potatoes are delicious, the cheese is fresh, the merguez were slightly overcooked but still really tasty, and the garlic sauce was indeed especially good This is probably the second Lebanese place I've tried outside of Montreal that's actually good (the second being El-Taouk, also in Trois-Rivières), every other place just gives me bologna burps for the rest of the day.. now if only those good Lebanese places would spread outside of Trois-Rivières, grumble grumble

Dear Mikaël,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that our baklava brought back great memories and that you enjoyed the merguez poutine and garlic sauce. We always aim to provide tasty dishes and friendly service, so your kind words mean a lot. We hope to see you again next time you’re in town, Maybe we can convince those other Lebanese spots to step up their game too!
