I was in Amir today for a Chicken Shwarma My son ordered first and it seemed like the person preparing the food was impatient. There was no line. We were the only ones in the store. He didn’t look at us at all while we were ordering. When it was my time to order I asked for humus and he went for the garlic sauce, I had to repeat myself. Then he started to put lettuce but I didn’t say lettuce. It was super frustrating and awkward. Clearly the guy wanted to be somewhere else and not working at Amir that day. I told him I can’t have lettuce because I was allergic. I wasn’t really allergic, but I didn’t feel like telling him that I have Crohn’s and explaining that I can’t digest lettuce. He said I’ve never heard of anybody being allergic to lettuce. Anyways, so we put in our order and we went to pay, and as we were settling the bill, he started to talk in another language to the guy at the back and I could understand what he was saying. I will not translate but it was a derogative comment towards me. It was really not a great experience and I don’t think we’ll go back.
Reviews / Ratings for Amir
Absolutely hands down one of the best Lebanese shawarma spots I’ve ever tried. From the moment you walk in, the aroma alone tells you you’re in for something special. The shawarma is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with authentic flavor—every bite tastes like it’s straight out of Beirut. The garlic sauce is unreal, creamy with just the right kick, and the fresh vegetables and warm, soft pita bring everything together perfectly. You can really tell they care about quality and tradition here. The portions are generous, the staff is welcoming, and the whole experience feels genuine and comforting. If you’re craving real Lebanese shawarma, this place doesn’t just meet expectations—it sets the standard. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
Chicken was tender. Portion is small for the price you pay. Theit garlic sauce was tasting more like a mayonnaise flavored garlic, we didn't like the after taste.
Very expensive and not worth of money Bad customer service Other Amir stores are so better compare to this location
