I have eaten at this place many dozens of times, I have always considered Amir to be healthiest and tastiest fast food. I worked in that part of the world and got addicted on shish-taouk and hummus, In my book, hummus is the only thing that rivals mashed potatoes. Maybe the Saint-Denis Amir had, on occasion, slightly better shish-taouk, but this one was my favorite for kefta and the shish taouk has been consistently great. I gave it four stars this time as there was no hummus in my pita. I usually order extra hummus anyway, but this time I simply ordered hummus sauce and I did not get hummus taste. I will order an extra hummus plate next time.

I was on doordash and I realized they are pricing up their meals when they give a deal on doordash. You can see on another review that they are trying to excuse it by saying that you are saving 2$ by buying it with the deal when it is in fact a “Buy one, get one free” offer. Basically they are trying to claim it is normal to spend the full price (minus $2) of two items on something that is “buy one get one free”. That is not how those offer work. This is very disrespectful to do this and then claim that you are not pricing up the trios, when you are clearly doing so. I tried to see if maybe they were telling the truth, so I decided to put a single trio in my cart and as you can see, they priced up the cost of the trio by $15. I have never seen a single trio being $30 in my life. Like the other review, I will be reporting this to DoorDash, and I will make sure to tell my surroundings that they should not go to this restaurant anymore. I hope this restaurant can learn that a “2 for 1” and a “Buy one, Get one free” means if you buy ONE at REGULAR PRICE, you get a SECOND ONE for FREE. Not, 2$ less.

Imagine, offering a 2 for 1 deal, but you jack up the price by 2x specifically for the deal? Such a scummy thing to do. You are giving yourselves a very bad look. Edit: do you guys notice they only answer reviews to good ones? I will be making sure everyone around me knows to never go there and to go to better Lebanese restaurants. Edit for the idiotic response of the owner: you ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO PRICE UP THE TRIOS. We are supposed to pay 15$ for TWO TRIOS. This is a BUY ONE AND GET ONE FOR FREE. Not BUY TWO AND PAY 2$ LESS. Are you joking?? You cannot be serious Also another edit: you only responded to the negative comments after I called out the fact you do not. We can see when you responded to them and it all says within an hour of when you responded to me. You SAY transparency is important to you guys but you cannot understand the BASIC IDEA of what a “buy one get one free” means? And you lie about “responding to negative reviews as time allows” when in reality you never responded to them UNTIL you got called out for it. I really hope people see this review before thinking about supporting a business that will give a 2$ discount on a trio and then claim “this is a 2 for 1 deal!”

I have visited several locations of this Lebanese restaurant chain across Quebec, but this location stands out. The food is always fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned, from the perfectly seasoned shawarma to the creamy hummus and crisp salads. The staff are welcoming and efficient along with quick service. This has become my go-to-spot among the Amir locations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and great service!
