Yellow caesar with like 10 slivered almonds :/
Reviews / Ratings for Amea Café
Their pistachio latte is the best. However the service is not the best. They don’t smile at the counter or when they deliver food to your place.
Great coffee. However my order, the Jerusalem Bagel was unfortunately inedible.
A good and fancy atmosphere with average prices that are affordable.
Wanted to check out this place for studying and I didn't realize how extravagant it would be! There are soo many seats with a big European vibe. The pizza I got was very tasty along with my matcha latte, but nothing too special, although they do serve the food to your table. I would definitely come back here to study and have a sip of coffee
Pagers to let you know when your food/drinks are ready. Coffee was good, seating options were incredible.
I’ve been coming to Amea Café for about 2 years now and have always loved the vibe, which is why this experience was disappointing. Today, there were only two of us, but we were sitting at a table for four because we both had food, drinks, and our iPads out. There honestly wasn’t enough space for us to sit directly across from each other without it being cramped. A staff member came over and asked us to move and sit together, even though it was clear we had everything set up and were actively using the space. I completely understand that it’s a busy café and people come here to work, but when tables are already limited, asking customers to rearrange mid-meal like that felt unnecessary and, to be honest, a bit rude. I’ve always enjoyed coming here, but this interaction definitely changed the experience for me. I think there could be a better balance between managing space and respecting customers who are already settled.
Amazing café with so much space to study and hang out. My new favorite café in Montreal 💗
Everyone who works here is lovely and the latté art is perfect and beautiful ❤️🤩❤️🤩❤️🤩❤️🤩❤️
Great experience and amazing spot to share time with family friends or solo.
Love everything except the Barista! Wait time for coffee 30-40 min in a non-busy day. I love the cafe and the vibe and since it is close to my work I am here almost every day. The food is great, place is clean however it has been a few instances where I am extremely dissatisfied with the cafe and in particularly there is one lady barista which half bleached hair. one instance, she was chatting with a friend (a policeman) and she totally ignored the orders for 20 min or so. The nice guy at the cash kep making the coffee and she had to make the foam and it took forever. Everyone was pissed off but she was unbothere. I have also tolerate late, cold order a few times but today I was there for a work meeting and it took 40 min for my coffee. I think 40 min wait is unacceptible. Apparently they forgot to push the buzzer and then they said they will remake it. and then it took another 15 min after remake, I mean you could expedite the order but no she kept working at the pace she does and prepared 5-6 other order before making the order. Needless to say that the shot was ready for 15 min and all she had to do was the foam. At the end the coffee was cold, and I waited 40 min for it. I think despite how much I love this cafe, this attitude and wait time is a 1 star in my opinion.
Great selection of breakfast and lunch foods and lots of seating. Perfect place to meet for a coffee in downtown for a big group. Some, not all, tables do not allow laptops during lunch hour which makes sense.
I like it for my first time The interior design like you can sit in different places.
Amazing atmosphere and a great place to cowork, study or even a date with someone. In a very artsy district with very artsy and unique food and beverages. Most visit if you like uniques coffee shops in Montréal.
This café is very chic and cozy. It's a great place to have coffee and chat with friends. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful.
Very good Caffe to study
I had a nice experience at this cafe. All the desserts and brunch options felt very fresh and had a nice creative touch to them, which I appreciated. It's a solid spot if you're looking for something a bit different than your usual cafe menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Great spot, many seats & nice scenery. Food was really good also & has unique options. Though, there was a big line to be seated when we went.
Four years in a row Montreal has been part of our story and here we are again. Every year without exception, we find ourselves back at this cafe, sitting with our coffee and croissant, savoring the moment. It’s more than just a breakfast ritual. It’s a tradition we look forward to every single time. When we return to Türkiye the taste that lingers in our memories and on our palates is always what we enjoyed right here. Some flavors stay with you. This one travels across continents with us. Already looking forward to the next visit. 🥐☕✨
Very spacious and comfortable, good spot for a coffee and a light brunch.
If you are in a hurry or waiting for something is not your thing, please skip it. Food were alright but 20mins for a coffee is too long to me.
I loved this cafe! alittle loud to study in but nice small tables to eat and catch up with friends. From 12-230 You arent allowed laptops! The service was really great, they delivered our foods and had a buzzer for our drinks. I ordered the pesto roasted chicken, and it was very filling! The salmon toast was a bit unfilling, but still tasty as per my friends. The shakshouka was a big hit, with pomegranates. Drinks were average. Plenty of seating but it filled up quickly. Desserts very very sweet.
Used to be a cute study space but now they do not allow laptops at tables. Food is served room temp and they often get orders wrong. I got a handful of gnocchi for $25. Definitely served more for looks than for taste, and so expensive. Honestly disappointed…
They have a shared bathroom with men and women. Unacceptable!
Excellent vibes, artistic interior design and wide space. Very cozy environment to chat and work, or just to chill out alone. Kids and adults all have place to stay and find their comfortable zone. Fair price with well attentive staff. Sandwiches is freshly made so during weekend rush hour could be a bit slow, yet pizzas are faster from my observation. Coffee service was efficient. Very innovative and artistic style bathroom as well. Gender neutral.
