New visit : Buffet was delicious! Must try! It's my first time coming back since the pandemic, the flavors are exactly as I remembered delicious, they renovated too! And improved the plates ! Love it !!!

Loved the food at Amazonas as always! Honestly didn’t even know it was a buffet when we came in, so that was a really cool surprise. My mom absolutely loved the pork dish called Carapulcra I believe, we had never tried it before but the flavor was amazing and the pork was sooo soft and tender. We also got a pitcher of Maracuyá Sour and wow… delicious. Later I noticed they actually sell fresh maracuyá fruits there too, and it made sense why the cocktail tasted so fresh. Nothing beats real fruit. We’ve been coming here for years and the quality is always consistently great or even better every time. Next time I definitely need to try the ice cream they make from the fruits!

My name is Alejandro and I visited Amazonas with my Peruvian wife and family for their Mother’s Day buffet. Unfortunately, we were running about 30 minutes late, but we called ahead and they were kind enough to still keep our reservation even on such a busy day. They simply explained there was a time limit because of the reservations, which we completely understood and appreciated. We drove over 1 hour just to experience their authentic Peruvian food, and it was absolutely worth it! The buffet had so many delicious dishes to try, everything tasted homemade and authentic. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. You can truly feel the passion and family atmosphere in this restaurant. This has become one of our favorite places, and we’ll definitely continue making the drive to visit again. Highly recommend for anyone wanting real authentic Peruvian cuisine!

The fresh ceviche at Amazonas was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh! But what surprised us the most were the small empanadas — our daughter loved them so much she ate 4 of them, which never happens at home because she’s usually very picky with food. That alone says a lot! The Mother’s Day buffet was such a beautiful experience for our family, with authentic homemade dishes and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend this lovely family-owned restaurant in Aylmer.

We reserved for the Mother’s Day special buffet at Amazonas in Aylmer and it was an amazing experience! The buffet offered such a great variety of authentic Peruvian dishes, all you can eat, fresh and full of flavor. It was the perfect gift from my family and a wonderful way to discover this lovely family-owned business the owner is the one checking your reservation and then the staff was welcoming, the atmosphere was warm, and you can really feel the passion behind the food. Highly recommend!

We were really good costumers, but today we went to eat something and a sir was very unpolite with us, he just got us out of the restaurant in a wrong way, you should change that kind of service or that people, you really lost us like costumer. We felt a lack of respect, we got it ok it’s not available any table, but it wasn’t the way to say it.

I ordered the mixed seafood plate. Everything was seasoned so well. The batter was too good. Fried to perfection. Not greasy at all. Generous portions. Great and friendly service. Warm environment. Family run business that cares. Highly recommend.

Food was great! Even when you can't get the same ingredients as you do with true Peruvian cuisine in Peru, this was well done. Service was standard, felt like Peruvian service and the place was homey. The seco and aji de gallina were perfect for a cool summer afternoon!

This is the only Peruvian restaurant In The Ottawa/ Aylmer region with typical Peruvian food. The taste is like the one that our grandmothers used to make, absolutely delicious. Rosa and Segundo are still there working hard and their son Kevin is now bringing new items to the menu that are amazingly delicious. His Lucuma ice cream and picarones are probably the best I have ever had. That includes top of the line restaurants in Peru. I highly recommend this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!!!
